Q: How many sheets fit in each?

I only used the protector for 2 sheets, but to see how much one would hold, I easily inserted 12 8x11 sheets into one packet. They are very sturdy.

Q: Are the non glare clear, meaning not opaque or foggy? Can a dry erase marker write them and the page inside be seen clearly?

I have not tried using a dry erase marker - but do not see why it would not work. I use them for music copies in performance binders for my Chamber Music groups. (purchased music is expensive!) Performers get scanned copies - the NON-GLARE ones worked much better for folks especially as we are getting older and vision can be a problem in the lighting situations we encounter. These are very easy to read under all conditions.

Q: Is this suitable to store old photo's?

I have not tried. They are "acid free" and "archival safe," so it would appear so. I'm sure those descriptions refer to document preservation. But if the photos are really precious, you might do a bit of online research to be sure those descriptions are sufficient for your needs. By the way, these are full sheet sized openings (meaning they hold full size 8.5X11 papers).

Q: Can you use dry erase markers on them ?

Sharpie permanent markers work on them.
