Love this clotted cream
Perfect flavor. Unfavorable reviewers: this can become separated as it is made to be kept without refrigeration until opened. I agree it is pricey, even considering the LONG process required to make clotted cream. When I want scones and clotted cream, it is a lovely splurge.

Arrived liquid and separated - bottle not jar
Had never ordered or tasted before so I wasn't sure what to expect. It arrived runny, really watery and separated, I put in the fridge unopened and it turned solid, hard. It was a small bottle and not a jar as pictured, so it was hard to get out from the small neck. It didn't taste spoiled but resembled unflavored, unsweetened butter. If allowed to soften it was grainy. Too expensive, should have arrived cold. Very disappointed!

REAL TASTY ON SCONES
HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT YET BUT KNOW IT IS REALLY TASTY. JUST REMEMBER IT ONLY LASTS ABOUT A WEEK ONCE IT IS OPEN.

Tastes great and fun for your own "high tea."
I was eager to try this clotted cream after reading about it in books and magazines (silly perhaps, but gourmet curiosity on my part). I enjoyed the creamy taste, but was a bit disappointed in the flavor - just wasn't unusual or special like I imagined it would be. I'm sure if you already know clotted cream, then you won't be disappointed. And the jar of clotted cream is handy for storing until you're ready to use it, unlike a fresh cream. I gave it a 4, rather than 5 because it wasn't quite what I expected.

Rancid! Do not buy!!!
It’s rancid and smells so disgusting I almost vomited. My local Whole Foods ran out so I emergency ordered this last minute for a tea party. I was trying to save time by ordering since it takes 12 hours in the oven to make clotted cream and 12 hours of cooling down before serving. Sometimes the time is worth it, especially when you receive an expensive spoiled product (and I bought 2)!

Really good
I had clotted cream for the first time this summer in England and I fell in love with it. This is as good as what I ate in England. I do think it is rather expensive but I just had to have it. I probably won’t order it too often unless I found a cheaper price.

Will not order again
I ordered this twice. The first time I received an empty package and today the one I received was leaking and sour.
