Akona Dry Bags

This is the best bag I have bought! I needed a waterproof bag for my travels and bought this bag two years ago and it has not failed me yet. I have taken this bag to over 20 overseas trips as check in luggage. It holds its weight for such an inexpensive bag and the best thing it is easy to find on the conveyor belt. I normally have about 15-20 pounds of clothes on my trips and several times had been caught in the rain and it kept all my clothes dry as long as you are able to roll the top a minimum of three times. I can't speak enough good things about this bag and highly recommend it. The only downside is the bag came with a shoulder strap but did not have a pad to prevent the strap from cutting in to your shoulder. Overall a GREAT bag for what I need it for.

Purchased this for use on a recent scuba dive vacation. Did the job in that it definitely keeps all the contents dry. The transparent exterior does make it easy to find stuff inside, rather than dig around or take everything out. Capacity is quite large, as you can easily stuff a couple beach towels, shirts, etc, plus a couple pairs of masks and even a set of snorkel fins.The one thing I didn't like was the strap. It wouldn't stay adjusted, and kept slipping to a longer length.

I'm a scuba diver and I needed a larger dry bag for my stuff on the dive boat that I wanted to keep dry; towel, clothes, valuables, etc. Works great for beach also for keeping stuff dry and keeping the sand out. Plenty of room for my stuff and my wife's. If I don't need all the room in the bag it rolls up to fit the contents. Only used it a couple of times but it seems to be a durable bag. The shoulder straps are great if you have a full bag. If you need a larger dry bag you'll like this hands down.

I live in Cancun and go out on boats very often, I bought this bag to replace my old one, I love it because it is very useful to bring equipment, rain jacket, some food, etc. all the necesary stuff to work in the sea several hours or to go on a scauba diving tour.The last one lasted about 3 or 4 years with a regular use, so I consider it's made withna good material, I don't carry heavy stuff anyway.I highly recommended.

Awesome product. We just returned from a week of island hopping the British Virgin Islands on a 60' Catamaran with a very small dinghy to get to shore. Some places we had to actually swim to shore. This bag is fabulous! Everything stayed dry including the phones and cameras. it even worked as a flotation device! Worth every penny!!!

Totally disappointed. Used bag to snorkel and stayed on water surface (i.e., no deep diving). Bag leaked every time. Luckily I read other customer reviews and used Ziploc baggie inside the "Dry Bag". So despite the fact that the "Dry Bag" was not dry inside, my items inside the Ziploc bagggie inside the 'Dry Bag' did stay dry. Given the relatively low cost of the "Dry Bag" and the long cord that allowed me to keep it around my waist while snorkeling, I rated this as 2-stars rather than 1. But caution other customers to 'double bag' their belongings.

Easy to roll & snap up. It keeps everything as dry as the top brands and I no longer have to dig through my bag to find things at the bottom of a tube. The one negative is that it does not have a shoulder strap as that would come in handy.

I purchased this for scuba diving. Great product. Kept things dry and clean. Large enough for a beach towel, rash guard, wallet, etc.
