Attends Guards for Men Incontinence Care, One Size, 16-Count (x4)

Loved the product. It has the best absorption for my personal situation. I did not need either medium or even light absorption but better absorption, more discreet and less leakage that I had experienced with the other brands. The facts that it is less bulky and more protection with less leakage while wearing it WON me over.

Have ordered these multiple times and found them to be well-suited to protection needs - until this last order. I order the multi-packs of 4 boxes. The second box has defective pads that separate into 2 layers from the top edge before use. That makes them more likely fold down during wear and results in bunching and, sometimes, leaks. Unfortunately, it's now past the 30 day return period that this defect has been discovered, so they cannot be returned for replacements. Word to the wise: If you order multiple boxes, open and check the pads in each box upon receipt so you can return them if necessary. Very frustrating! Update: After posting the above review, I noticed the package has contact information for the manufacturer. I called and the customer service person could not have been nicer. They sent a pre-paid envelop to return (unused) samples of the flawed pads. I opened the other two boxes which had the same lot number and found they, also, were flawed. So I sent samples from each plus the empty boxes showing the lot number. Several weeks later, I received replacements for each of the boxes. So despite my frustration at not being able to return them after 30 days to Amazon, I was pleased that the manufacturer made things right and gave such good service. It's good to see a company stand behind their product. They've earned my continued business!

If you already wear briefs or boxer briefs, Attends may be the transition you have to make before moving on to deal with heavier urinary incontinence. They work by sticking an absorbent pad to the inside front of close-fitting underwear (They are not made for loose-fitting boxers). The pads are applied with an adhesive strip that usually doesn’t work as well as it should, so the pads tend to come off and require resticking. The positive feature of these pads is that they do not extend much below the scrotum. There is no bunching of material pressing on your bottom.

These are my favorite. Love the comfort and the shape.

The guard is not bulky and it absorbs urine drops. The adhesive can survive several re-positionings. What it lacks, and this might be true will all these products, is the ability to eliminate the trapped urine smell that comes out when you drop your undershorts.

An excellent replacement for a similar product purchased in the UK.

Excellent product for men who need minimum protection. They are light and comfortable and not at all bulky. My husband used these after his prostatectomy surgery and they were the only pads he liked. His doctor's office gave him a pack to try but they were not stocked by any of the pharmacies in our area.. Price on Amazon was good. He no longer needs them every day but he may use them when he plays golf just in case.

I only gave it a single star because I want to ensure you read what I have to say before you buy. The adhesive worked fine for me only because I was forced to wear very form fitting underwear. However, there is an issue with product staying in place so it is important that you understand this prior to purchasing this product. Before I tell you the more important draw back the product I want you to know I purchased Attends because of the wide coverage area, and that feature of the product is very satisfying. Now the thing I like least of the product is it lacks the ability to keep the granulation of gelatin that is formed when incontinence occurs from penis. I often have to brush away residual regardless of the amount leakage. I put a depends with minimal capacity in conjunction with this product and found the combination of the two worked best for me. So to recap....wide coverage is great. The product does not leak, however be prepared to brush away solidified leakage. Now that you have read this review I would give it 3 stars. Minus one star for the lack of adhesive and minus one star for the not being able to keep the solidified urine contained with in the product.
