Eclipse MTE180G2R 4GB MP3 Music and Video Player (Red) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

This thing sucks. The battery power drains in like 15 minutes. Plus for the price it's not worth trying to return, so I figured I would frankenstein a bigger battery into it, but I can't even seem to get this thing apart.It doesn't feel too cheaply made, but the navigation and menus are not user friendly and you cannot listen and charge at the same time. The best I can say is that this feels like a knockoff of a Apple Nano.

I have no idea why everyone is complaining about this wonderful item. I've never had one that was so easy to use, easy to download songs to, easy to charge, battery lasts about 6 hours playing music, and the sound is perfect. The video camera is excellent, and the camera takes great pics as well. If they would take a few minutes to read the guide, they would understand how simple it is to plug it into the computer and drag and drop music files right onto it. So simple my four year old granddaughter knows how to use it. I can read ebooks on it, watch videos. It is a fantastic product. It does take a few minutes of exploration to see how it works, to set up the power saving mode, and get familiar with it. This is the third one I have purchased. I have one, my son has one, and my granddaughter has one. Nothing else works as well.

I bought this as a backup to an identical unit, which works great, but this older model had a bad battery. The new model has an updated micro USB INPUT AS A WAY TO IDENTIFY IT.

I already have this in Purple but wanted a spare. It works great & does well on my treadmill

DISCONTINUED? Must have been hardware problems. Can't beat it for the price and you get a camera and video recorder with mic for like $24... you just can't beat that price. Since they are discontinued I bought another as backup. LONG LIVE THE MP3!!!

Wouldn't charge right out of the box. And since my daughter opened it and threw away the packaging, we can't return it.

Won't hold a charge. I loaded my music on it, charged it overnight, and it played about an hour. The next time after I charged it,it only played a few minutes.
