Mego Action Figures, 14" Batman 52 (Limited Edition Collector’s Item)

I hesitated purchasing the new 52 Mego 14" figures because the promo pictures didn't look too good. I have several of the previous 14" releases and have had issues with the long necks and loose bodies. But when I received the New 52 Batman I was surprised to see that the next problem was resolved, the hands are molded into open fists so they can hold accessories, and the costume fit very well and was a muted color (not bright) which gives it a nice edge to it. The face sculpt is perfect and the cape is sewn in very nicely. Unlike the promo pics, Batman's gauntlets are included and complete the figure. Well done! He looks great next to the New 52 Superman and Wonder Woman, which are improvements on the original releases too.

The media could not be loaded. I love the items Look, and size! I got a good deal financially and always quality from Mego. But the condition of the box is bad. And that is a trend when amazon distribution is involved...

This product had hips that loosened quickly and eventually were hanging down like they were only connected by a loose rubber band. After three months of play the hips broke apart in two pieces, the legs fell off and the action figure was not usable anymore. Buy another brand if you don't want to throw your money away. Seller was responsive, but said it was only warranted for 30 days, so nothing could be done about this.

Found this figure at retail and happy to see batman has a belt and gauntlets. The fabric is durable, the headsculpt is great, and the cape is fantastic. The joints are not loose on mine and the figure is very playable. I would even be comfortable giving this to my 8 year old. Highly recommended, especially for the price!
