We have a passion for interesting cars but with this passion comes usually complications! I bought this for my Lancia Ypsilon. Before purchasing this model I had tried a few other brands which stated Lancia compatible, but they didn't work at all or they were twice the price of this model and didn't have the functionality. What I wanted was a unit that did Full System scanning not just 4 systems which most other devices at this price point offer, plus some special services such as Oil Reset and Battery Monitor. This is a very high spec machine for small outlay. I spent a long time searching, believe me this is the best option out there if you want a high end, Full system scanner for 4 system scan price. Customer service from Autel has been excellent throughout my contact with this before purchase to ensure it would be suitable. I am not a mechanic by any means, but am fortunate to have my best friend who is very competent with cars and therefore between our fleet, I wanted to diagnose and then he can fix! The MD806 Pro feels very well made, comes with a bright and clear screen and large chunky buttons and feels it would survive a workshop. It comes with a nice carry case with all the cables and manuals. Nice piece I thought when I unboxed it. Updating the unit does take a while if you are updating for every brand this device covers which is most I have ever heard of including some extremely premium brands I have never seen on a device at this price point. For the majority of us, I am sure your car will be listed. My advice is only update the brands you want to install onto the device and it will be ready in but a moment. The Autel MD806 Pro worked a treat and correctly and quickly diagnosed the problem on my Lancia which no other tool has managed. It was easy with the Scan feature and also showed up some other issues I wasn't aware of. Brilliant diagnostic tool for the amateur diagnoser and I am sure for professional garages and workshops too. Every brand covered as well as useful reset functions. I cannot recommend it enough, stop searching (as I have done that for you!) and buy the MD806 Pro, you won't be disappointed.

The MD806 Pro is a great bit of kit, I have used it several times since recently purchasing it and managed to diagnose and rectify faults on every use! Easy to use, quick to load, read/ erase codes, monitor live data (great for diagnosing) , reset service lights, monitor DPF issues and data etc etc! Great value for money! If your looking for a diagnostic tool that gives you enough information to diagnose a fault without spending £1000 etc on a pro set up then I’d opt for this one. I’d say it’s ideal for the experienced/professional mechanic or hobbyist looking to do their own cars or even jobs for others without it jumping into the costly equipment bracket 👍🏼 Autel customer service is brilliant, always happy to help out! I have used other products from Autel during my time in the garage industry and never had any issues with them, often putting other brands to shame!

The MD806 is easy to use, as long as your vehicle has an OBD II port then its got a pretty good chance of working. I'm not a mechanic by any means but have no problem getting my hands dirty and learning how things work so if I have an idea of the problem I can find out if its possible for me to sort myself or as others have said, know if you're getting ripped off. I will say that the price is a tad expensive for your average Joe but the purpose of me buying this one was for the lifetime updates and large support of manufacturers (enough for me anyway to get around all of my family and friends' cars if I need). Admittedly, there are similar devices for slightly cheaper but I can vouch for this one that it works well. One slight drawback of the MD806 Pro was that its a little slow to do a full scan. Luckily for me, I'm fairly patient and usually have a lot of time but might be something to consider. I've read for others that it can take about 15 mins but for me it's closer to 30-45 mins, I usually set it off and go grab a drink. Overall, although a little pricey this device should last you a couple decades provided you keep it up to date.

I read a few horror stories online about fake imports, wrong language, wrong systems, incompatible software etc so was a bit apprehensive when ordering. However, the unit arrived in good time just two days later. A bit of a long process to create Autel ID, login, register device, download software then update the device, but every stage worked ok, no problems even on Microsoft Vista(!) (I suspect thet the unit would have worked without updating, but followed the instructions just in case). The unit has connected no problem so far with Audi A4 2011, Vivaro van 2012, VW T4 Transporter 2003 (with ingintion switched on) and read and erased codes including ones which weren't flagged by dashboard lights. I've no doubt the device will get a lot of use in future-It's easy to use with a clear screen, can be powered via OBD or USB from laptop. I considered buying one for half the price which may have read the same codes, but did not really want to take the chance. Glad I bought this one as there are plenty of functions on it. . Comes in a sturdy plastic case, with instrucions included in box.

Really good scan tool, I was surprised on how much it could do. In my 2017 BMW it is a able to communicate with most of the modules in the car (around 10) and it can read and clear codes from them. I've tried in other cars and seem to have the same success. OBD functions are straight forward as you'd expect, the additional functions this tool gives you is the reason I bought it (DPF and EPB etc). Easy to use and does exactly what it says on the tin.

Substandard. Effectively only works as an EOBD code reader. Run vehicle scan, no faults present, plug in a £30 code reader, codes present. Peugeot with EML on, no codes! Fiesta 1.0, can't communicate with pcm. Volvo c30, not recognised. Utterly hopeless

Für privaten Gebrauch und mehr... Aber...(Wichtig) als erstes Registrieren und Sprache umstellen via Update( amPC über USB/SD), 1. Registrieren über die Autel Webseite, Gerät eintragen ( Anleitung) 2. PC Maxi Suite (Downloads Autel Webseite) runterladen, über dieses Autel-Programm finden Updates statt. ( Ihr Autel Login bereithalten) Gerät anschließen und auf dem Gerät Update drücken, es erscheint ( auf PC) was drauf ist und welche Marken Sie updaten möchten, es wir noch alles auf english sein, falls Sie Deutsch möchten weiterlesen... 3. Support kontaktieren und Seriennummer durchgeben mit bitte auf deutsche Sprache umzustellen.( Dauer ca.1-3 Werktage) bei mir waren es 2-3 Tage... 4. Nach ein paar Tage wieder ans PC... SD-Karte rausnehmen und (Wichtig) formatieren d.h. alles wird gelöscht (nur die Ruhe;) danach SD-Karte wieder rein ins Gerät anschließen und PcMaxiSuit öffnen, Update auf dem Gerät drücken (es verbindet sich mit PC) einloggen, alles was im Update Fenster ist anklicken und runterladen ( dauert lange ca.10GB) 5. Wenn fertig Programm schließen und Gerät abziehen, ca 10 sek. warten, dann wieder anschließen und die Sprache sollte verfügbar sein. Wenn nicht Schritte 3 bis 5 wiederholen...ich hab nur 1 Versuch gebraucht Hab's an meiner A-Klasse W169 ausprobiert, war begeistert, Übersetzung top, und die Möglichkeiten wie tief es ins Systeme eindringt, dachte bei Marke Mercedes wären die Möglichkeiten beschränkt...war positiv überrascht ( vom Motor und Klima bis hin zum Wischer Schalter könnte alles auslesen...) und viel mehr. VAG ( VW Konzern) hatte noch mehr Features. Nur kodieren kann man nicht, aber hej das ist auch ne andere Preis-Liga... Kurzgesagt für privat mehr als Top!!!

El producto es muy útil sobre todo ahora que en la ITV te meten la maquina. Puedes ver y borrar códigos de averías también ver parámetros y registrar cambios de algunas piezas. La he utilizado en BMW y SEAT por el momento.

Per la sua fascia di prezzo offre parecchie funzioni, anche troppe se non si mastica di meccatronica. Di facilissimo utilizzo, fa praticamente tutto da solo. Non avendo una batteria interna (si alimenta con quella del veicolo) può essere lasciato inattivo per lunghi periodi senza problemi.

Ottimo tester..consegna in tempi giusti..ottimo x qualità prezzo fa azzeramento service e diagnosi motore su varie Marche..lo consiglio l'unica pecca xo e la procedura da fare x portarlo con la lingua italiano..io che nn mangio pc ce lo fatta grazie a pazienza e all'ottima assistenza data lo consiglio..
