Wow this powder foundation blew all the other powder foundations I’ve tried out of the water. I have this strong yellow undertone to my skin and always struggle, I purchased warm sienna and by all means it’s not dark at all. This foundation leaves a soft natural glow that makes my skin look natural yet covers imperfections very well. It also feels light weight on my skin and lasts 8 hours before it starts to break down with my oily skin but the Danessa Myricks yummy skin blurring balm powder that I use as a primer in universal helps with all that. Highly recommend on mature skin since I’m in my 40’s those pesky fine lines look smooth.

I absolutely love the jane iredale PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation! The natural ingredients are a huge plus, and the shade is a perfect match for my skin tone. I love this makeup. It's good coverage and does not irritate my skin. I like to apply and mist to set. Easy to apply with brush and I like that it has sun protection.

This powder has light to medium buildable coverage. I find I can use it to conceal blemishes as well by gently layering with a very soft brush. However I don’t use it to conceal my under-eyes as it can feel too dry. Staying power is good compared to other powders I’ve tried (mineral fusion, latest everyday minerals formula, bare escentuals, l’oreal) that tend to wear off or crease. Powder works better than fluid foundation with my very oily complexion. Fluid foundation settles in my pores, creases, and exacerbates my blemishes. Makes me look worse off! Setting with powder for stability adds a layer of eventually yucky, visible messiness to the whole deal. Ah the unfairness of having bad skin. Makeup simply looks bad on it. Enter this powder, which is more stable throughout the day and not irritating at all. So it’s a step up! This is working for me rn, considering purchasing one lighter color to apply to the middle of my face to add subtle dimension and not look too flat. Major CON is the PRICE!!! That stuff is expensive!!!

I have been using this make up base for about 10 years, I have not found anything better yet! Very comfortable, good color match easy to apply. Doesn’t cake up at all, looks very natural and blends in to a second skin. When I wear it it also helps with sun protection

I'm a mineral foundation hoarder, mineral makeup is the only "powder" product I'll ever use in my very sensitive, combination, acne prone skin. I've tried over 20 brands of mineral foundations, from high end to drugstore to even online businesses. This is my favorite high end brand of mineral makeup. Bare minerals is over exaggerated. Jane iredale has great pure ingredients, has amazing full coverage (if you apply using a flocked sponge) and is super convienent since it's pressed. If you can afford it I recommend giving it a try. A great drugstore alternative that is very similar is the physicians formula mineral wear talc free pressed foundations. Great ingredients, great coverage at a drugstore price. My favorite makeup. A little goes a long way. Great color match and lightweight coverage. Protects my skin from the sun as well.

The description doesn't say it is a refill, and the pictures are of a full compact. Even the list price of $52 is what a full compact costs. When I received it, only a refill was in the box, so I returned it to Amazon. Unable to locate a full compact on Amazon, I purchased one from Jane Iredale's website directly, and paid list price. I really like the pressed powder as it is quick to apply and the color looks natural.

I have used this product for the last 4 years - I find by using the correct brush, and applying correctly, the foundation stays in place all day and rarely needs replenishing. It washes off negating the need for cleanser, I do not need to change the colour of the product through the seasons - still looks fine even with suntan!

Endlich ein Puder, welches super Pickelchen, Rötungen, Augenringe etc. abdeckt. Habe mir direkt mehrere Farbnuancen bestellt: Einen helleren Ton zum grundieren und abdecken meiner "Problemzonen" und einen dunkleren nutze ich anschließend wie einen Bronzer. Meine Mutter (73) habe ich auch schon damit geschminkt. Sie hat alterbedingt rote Äderchen auf den Wangen. Sie schminkt sich gar nicht gerne und mit dicker Foundation fühlt sie sich unwohl. Zu unserer Überraschung deckt dieses Puder sogar das wirklich prima ab. Einen Stern Punkteabzug gibt es dafür, dass ich immer mal wieder nachpudern muss, damit ich nicht glänze. Wobei das vermutlich ein individuelles Problem ist - ich habe einfach eine schnell fettende Haut :-/
