The five star reviews for this book are clearly because these people were given the book for free in exchange for "an honest review" which is complete and total BS. This book is awful! I should have looked at the low star reviews before I ordered it - typos, bad jokes - and bad doesn't even begin to describe it, and out of date references that maybe my parents or grandparents would understand. And the book was ten dollars - and they are charging me five dollars to return it (and it was even Prime)!!!

If I could give this purchase, -2 stars I would. After researching and reading reviews online, I bought 4-5 different joke books for my nephew. All other selections were great books, this was awful and seemed like something that was published and printed in someone's garage. This is a totally honest review, do not waste your money. There are corny jokes and then this book, which seemed to be filled with awful puns. Just not funny and I have a really good, corny sense of humor. Not understanding the great reviews. Maybe one or two funny jokes in the entire book, maybe.

Christmas gift for Grandson. He loves the book. He has always enjoyed joke books. He reads this book quietly and we can hear him laugh and then asks us jokes and we all laugh. Great book for 11 year old.

This is a great book! I downloaded it earlier today since my nephews were coming into town (10 and 6) and these jokes made them laugh incredibly hard. It was easy to keep them entertained and out of the way while everyone else was moving around preparing for my other sister's wedding.

My 6 and 8 year old laughed so much while reading this book. It's usually hard for me to get them to read on their own. With this joke book, they were fighting over who would get to read it to me.

Horrible book! Overpriced. Even I couldn't understand some of the jokes. There is no way a 7-12 year old will get them. Lame. In addition, the writer must not be from the US because the jokes include slang words I've never heard of. Found 2 misspelled words in the first 4 pages. I threw it in the garbage can.

Very disappointed in this collection of jokes! Certainly not good for the under 9 age group - and maybe not even for some of us adults!!!

This is poor. To be honest I consider this a waste of my money. It should have been better edited. The jokes weren't funny. And considering the price point I really expected better.
