Did not contain power cord for electric use, so "Electric Pencil Sharpener" somewhat of a misnomer. Gave to my boyfriend who was in need of a battery-operated sharpener. Tried three different cords I happened to have free around the house. All provided some power to the sharpener, but not quite enough to sharpen a pencil. Company contact info on the instruction sheet said "http:// " !!!! It was blank! Not quite heavy enough for a doorstop.UPDATE: Seller shipped a power adapter to me, which (I guess) was supposed to be purchased separately for this "Best Electric Pencil Sharpener." While redeemed, and now electric, it remains 3 stars because it was difficult to get to the electric stage.

Not as powerful as I would have liked. Did not come with external power supply. Worse, included no directions about which power supply to buy or the size of one if you purchased one from a different source.

Works well but was disappointed when I had to put in batteries...to me an electric pencil sharpener doesn't use batteries...it uses electricity!!

A good value for money, the only sharpener that works with batteries and adapter I've ever seen. Y love it's beautiful green color and the most important it works perfectly

DOES NOT work well. Stalls out even with AC. Cannot sharpen new pencils at all.

Works very well, fits conveniently on my drawing desk, and looks sharp
