I thought it wasn't working at first, but I had switched it out while the machine was in sleep mode (not off.) Turns out it just needed a reboot. It's been working great so far.

keyboard came without flat ribbon connector, I tried to move the old one to it and the small connections made it close to impossible to place the small cable ribbon properly in place, I ended up returning it.

Work in Dell E6520/E6530/M6600

The description says this come with the ribbon, but it does NOT. I returned the first one, and sure enough, the second arrived also with no ribbon. My IT department is trying to install this one, but I have my doubts. This item should NOT be listed as coming with the ribbon, when clearly it does not.

F.U IT guy. I'll just do it myself. Works great.

It didnt work. You get what you pay for. The flat ribbon plug on the back BROKE as I was very gently trying to install the ribbon cable. They did issue a refund but it was junk.
