great quality. Make sure you also get the adapters ...
If you need a KVM over IP - this is the one. Feature rich, great quality. Make sure you also get the adapters (RJ-45 to USB or PS/2) for the number of computers you would like to connect. It also support remote serial port so you can connect it to a switch's console port. Compatible with BL-C7000 OnBoard Admin with KVM (the whole blade is connected to a single port on this KVM and from there you can control the enclosure's KVM).

Money well spent
A bit pricey but worth it. Cables are expensive but the unit operates as advertised.

A lot of issues out of the box
It was relatively easy to install and I could connect to remote machines. However, it failed to achieve its purpose out of the box due to the following:1) It came with firmware 2.1.1184.1.0. Trying to upgrade it v3.0.5.583 just fails with an error.2) It's either too slow, or doesn't send the key strokes to allow you to intercept the boot sequence upon startup. It seems to have no impact.3) The Virtual Media when attached is unrecognized when connecting it to a session running macOS.4) As you know, when you change the screen resolution in the OS, a counter comes up after it applied the changes. The Tripp Lite Solutions Manager is so slow to refresh to the updated resolution, that more often than not, the OS counter expires and the screen resolution is reverted back to the original. In the end, I had to disconnect machines from KVM, connect them to a real keyboard, mouse and USB DVD drive to install and manage machines.

) Good value for intended purpose -- slide-out KVM
Limited screen resolution forces lower resolution to server displays or video signal is "out of range" and won't display. Remote desktop KVM support requires obsolete third party tools, and insecure crypto (by today's standards.) Good value for intended purpose -- slide-out KVM, but not a good choice for secure remote KVM over the Internet.

Nice! Almost there.
It works very well and I am overall happy with it. I bought it to test for usage at customer accounts. My only issue is that the software is completely browser driven and, due to security on the new browsers, it is very finicky to get going. They have a free windows download on their site, and tech support was very helpful and quick to show me to it. But it would be much better if it were just included on a CD or even an insert clearly showing where to go to get the app. Given the development of a windows app, a mobile app would be really cool too!

Great for remote hands on
Great for remote hands on. Unlike other competitors, they offer a standalone application to manage the KVM in addition to the Java web page. Often there are browser issues with outdated security related to Java and now I can manage the KVM without worrying about finding an outdated browser. There is a great function that allows you to integrate the KVM with a PDU to power cycle devices remotely as well.

Pretty bad...
First one we got was defective right out of the box.The replacement still didn't work out of the box until firmware updates were applied. Applying those updates is a complex and fragile procedure.Tripp-lite support was poor, consisting mostly of outdated, inaccurate PDF documentation and unhelpful phone support. There's no meaningful support without some sort of agreement in place, and even then it's mickey mouse stuff. The keyboard layout is slightly nonstandard, leading to some typing errors, but is relatively sturdy. The touchpad sensitivity is such that you sometimes move the cursor when typing. There are no configurable settings for either. The GUI interface is sluggish and not very responsive, everything takes just a half-second longer than it ought to.The display quality is fine.It does provide easy keyboard shortcuts, and I recommend using the keyboard as much as possible. The biggest problem with this unit is the "IP" functionality, which revolves around a couple of very poor quality browser addins, an ActiveX control for IE that seems to be incompatible with any recent version of IE, and a plugin-based version for Firefox etc that is even worse.Login process is awkward. you must choose whether to log into the settings/administration portion or the actual KVM portion, even though both use the same credentials, and one may work while the other does not.Once you're logged in, a menu allows you to choose which display to view, control display quality settings, and adjust mouse sensitivity and acceleration. The only problem is, all of the available settings are absolutely terrible. There is a calibrate feature which is supposed to calibrate your browser mouse pointer to the screen, but it only works briefly, and goes out of calibration almost immediately.Display updates are slow and inaccurate. Artifacting and display glitches are commonplace. The refresh button does little to help.As an in-rack KVM device, it's ok, but as a remote KVM option, it is truly awful.Go with a different model if you need reliable web or internet-based KVM access.

Red Haze After Year+ of Use
Worked for about 1 year and 7 months until a red shade appeared on monitor. Replaced monitor but still received red haze. I didn't purchase extended warranty so Tripp Lite could only provide troubleshooting assistance. No replacement as it's only 1 year mfg warranty. Not sure if I will go with this brand again. But I invested in alot of kvm cables.
