Deep within the nightmare realm of Casca's dreams, Schierke and Farnese battle endless horrors to reach the dark secret that has imprisoned Casca's mind for so long. But the dreamworld dangers are no mere phantasms of the unconscious--they are a lethal reality to the intruders from the material world! From creator Kentaro Miura comes the latest chapter of Berserk , a sprawling adult fantasy epic of horror, humor, and fierce imagination and the inspiration for the wildly popular anime series. FOR MATURE READERS. Review: wow - Berserk continues to amaze me after all these years.. roll on vol 41 Review: Fantastic manga, poorly handled. - My Seller tried to cover a massive tear in the cover of the book with the "desertcart warehouse" sticker. The manga itself is great, but the seller has dented my trust in buying second hand.

Casca
story progresses a little bit, we still didn’t get much, the last few chapters were extremely short!! The dream part of this volume with Casca was really amazing as it was essentially retelling the Eclipse event again but in symbolism. Also just the development of Casca was really good as it seems we now have her back in her original state and it seems that the next volume is going to focus on her dealing with the trauma of that event.

One of the greatest
40th volume of the Berserk series, Miura never disappoints (other than the never ending hiatuses) this is by far one of my favourites. with this volume came with some nice progression and development, this makes the perfect addition to the collection, really looking forward to what vol 41 has to offer when Berserk eventually resumes.

Ottimo volume

Fantastic final volume.
If you're reading this, you already know Miura's vast skill and talent. This volume was no different, the the most significant chapter is something that gives a lot of fans what they want. Shame it was the last one Miura released before he died, but it's an amazing volume to have as your last work. Condition of the book is great, came wrapped and no bending etc.

Great but will leave you wanting more.
I can see what others are saying about it being disappointing but overall I’m satisfied. So long as the hiatuses go out the window I think this was a good installment. It will leave you wanting more and that’s all imma say about that. We al know what happens and it was a good feeling to see her snap back in this. Plus he drew her really well and a tear dropped on a certain exchange between Farnese and casca. Spoilers below to some degree!!! So I’ve seen another review about the penis monsters showing back up and griping about that. Don’t forget this is a callback, all of these events are callback, to the feast. Shierke makes direct references to the feast and there is literally a chapter titled main culprits (of casca’s terror). I think this was done really well. Nothing about penis monsters Having their way with a woman is comical.
