I needed a hinge that would soft close. The description says that this hinge "Prevents a lid from slamming shut". If you wanted a soft close hinge, LOOK ELSE WEAR!

Hello, i wanted to let you know that the parts are not manufactured correctly. They will not lock when installed. The reason is, the cut out ( U Shape) is not deep enough to let them lock. I had to have all eight pieces machined out by 0.125 Thousands ( 1/8") in order to make them work. I would imagine everything you have in stock is the same way. This is poor quality and i would check into correcting this issue.

Worthless for holding up a cabinet door. Would work for a chest door that you just want to keep it from opening too far, but the quality is not there.

All 4 of the hinges are left handed. You cannot use these hinges to support both sides of a lid/shelf/etc.

These hinges are very flimsy and are all the same handedness. They did not extend fully to 180 degrees plus. I had to take a hacksaw to saw a groove where they could extend beyond 180 degrees so they would keep the lid up. I would not recommend these.
