Works good. Replaces a variety

While I know the capacitance of my personal AC unit, I keep a turbo 200 on hand for that once a year phone call from a friend or family member. It always happens when it’s 90+ degree outside and it’s always at a time that a tech will not show up or the supply house is closed. Although the unit itself is quite pricey, it definitely beats keeping 60+ different values on hand. It only took 5 minutes to diagnose and 5 min to replace and button the unit up.

Used it recently as I also had to change out a 13 year old fan motor. Love this capacitor and its product line. Recommend it.

So far so good. The capacitor worked as it claimed and was easy to hook up. I only had one glitch hooking up the jumper, which was quickly realized and corrected. It is quite large compared to the other ones, so it took a little effort to mount appropriately. It does come with the mounting strap zip tie and an extra metal tapping screw. I will update the rating based on longevity of it and if the warranty is needed, which the company offers 5 years. I have not had good luck with capacitors lasting on a unit that is in direct summer sunlight and heat. But for now, everything is performing perfectly!

This is the second time I’ve purchased the Turbo 200 capacitor (I have two systems). Very easy to install yourself. No need to have a HVAC Tech charge you hundreds of dollars. Turn off electric breaker at the box and pull outside fuse before installing. Take a photo of your existing capacitor to see what wires are connected where. You can upload photos of current connected capacitor and new Turbo 200 capacitor to Chat GPT to ensure proper connection. Along with photos of your capacitor and fan motor model number plates. Turn breaker and outside fuse on before starting up. You may have to press the red reset button on your condenser after trying to start up. All done. Quick and easy!

Great for HVAC techs to carry around because it works in any condenser. The jumpers let you match capacitance once you look at what your replacing. But it's needlessly expensive if you know what capacitor you're replacing. And figuring out the jumpers to use adds a bit of complexity to what's normally a simple job.

Item as described Worked well but never really needed it I required the system like 4 times. Never found the bad wire. But everything works. I have a extra one now Very versatile piece of equipment I’ve used them for 45 years

A little pricey but definitely worth it. Highly customizable for different size capacitor needs as well as good warranty….win…win!!!

For under $100, I will replace myself my home air conditioning system's capacitator, while the HVAC company was going to charge me $370 plus taxes. I asked the technician to show me what needed to be replaced and how much it would cost me. Once he showed me this exact capacitator, a quick check on Amazon.ca revealed that this item was less than $100 and would take about 5 minutes to replace. No, I do not want to pay $300 more just for the fun of it! Same 5-year warranty as offered by the HVAC company, so nothing lost!

This is one of the most expensive capacitors on the market and it failed in two weeks.

Received sealed only with clear tape—no instructions included. Dented, which is a serious safety concern. Factory packaging didn’t match official product videos (missing caution band across top). Warning was oddly printed on bottom flap. Returned and ordered a replacement—hoping the next one is legit.
