Writes smoothly with ease giving the look of a fountain pen.
The pen is simply packaged and is lightweight. It's attractively designed in a functional way. It sits comfortably as I write and flows well. This is my first ink cartridge rollerball pen, having only used fountain pens previously and I am impressed. It is slightly expensive for what it is. My Lamy fountain pens were not as expensive - but if this lasts as long as they do, then it will be worth it.

Quite a smooth writer ...
I have to admit to being favourably impressed by this cartridge loaded rollerball. I have used fountain pens on numerous occasions and prefer to use pens in spite of the technology available in this day and age. I am now on my next pack of cartridges and fell as a pen connoisseur that this is one of the better pens available today. It is comfortable, well designed and not too thick or thin and the rollerball allows a smooth flow of ink onto the page. While the cartridges bring back feelings of being at school it enables you to use any standard size cartridge although I haven’t tried it yet with an inkwell and adapter cartridge it should work ok.

A great writing device
This pen is marvelous. The ink flows perfectly after some usage, in a steady rate, no leakage. It's a beautiful design, a little more bulky than the pictures suggest. The bulkyness makes a good fit in a large hand like mine.

An interesting idea
What you have here is a rollerball pen that doesn't use rollerball refills. Instead it uses ink carytiges, the style for fountain pens. What this means is that the 'mechanism' (the actual rolling ball) is not rwplaced with each refil. So, if this lack of regular replacement of the 'writing tip' significant? I honestly don't know. Presumably the writing tip will wear out some time, but I haven't owned the pen long enough to find any problem YET. So are there any issues? Well - I actually find the pen a bit uncomfortable and 'clunky' to use. I've many another pen more comfortable in the hand, but it's OK. The actual writing action is smooth. So, overall, recommended.

Faulty roller ball, poor quality
1st pen had faulty roller ball, ink did not flow, utterly useless. My complaint to company was ignored. Ended up writing to a director of the company to secure a replacement. The replacement has failed as well. Dreadful quality. Appalling customer service.

There's really only one drawback to this pen I have discovered so far. The rollerball can be a touch "scratchy" but this is also expected in a roller tip with tight enough tolerances to allow use of a liquid fountain pen ink. I found a few hard starts when I first began using it, but it seemed to "break in" after about 5-10 minutes and hasn't happened since. I use the pen with a schmidt k5-style converter and it fits perfectly and securely in the pen body. I have used it with both Pilot Iroshizuku Tsukushi and Diamine Oxblood ink, both performed well. One note of caution, perhaps it goes without saying but do not use fountain pen inks that "shimmer" as the particles will either entirely clog or cause excess wear of the roller tip, and if you use ink with high degree of "sheen" be prepared to clean the feed system frequently (with that said the feed is very easy to flush using a converter). Overall it's a good way to use just about any ink you'd like in a nondescript way. I'm quite pleased with it, and I may just order a couple more.
