Vanicream Moisturizing Skin Cream, 1 lb

I originally bought the 1 lb tub after having it recommended for sensitive skin, as I have very sensitive skin that is both acne-prone and eczema-prone so I am extremely cautious about the products I use, I was worried this lotion would be too oily, thick, or greasy and result in acne flares. I was completely wrong. Thankfully, this formula has been very gentle and hasn’t caused any irritation. I purchased my first jar in January 2025 and I’m honestly shocked that I’m only just now buying a refill over a year later — and my original jar still isn’t completely empty. A little truly goes a long way. One thing I really appreciate is the short ingredient list and the fact that it’s completely fragrance free, which makes it ideal for sensitive skin. Even though the cream looks thick and white in the jar, it absorbs surprisingly well into the skin. It leaves my skin feeling deeply hydrated and nourished without leaving behind a greasy residue or white cast. The only downside is that the tub packaging can feel a little less hygienic than a pump. They do sell a pump version, but when restocking I’d rather not pay extra for the pump each time. I ended up just saving the pump from my first jar and swapping it onto the refill, which works perfectly. Overall, this has become a staple in my skincare routine. If you struggle with dry or sensitive skin and are hesitant about thicker creams, this one is definitely worth trying.

Vanicream was recommended to our family by a dermatologist. The primary issue - we all have varying dryness needs. One person has psoriasis; two have a sort of skin sensitivity that leaves them dry and itchy. Vanicream handles all of us! No more ashy knees and elbows, no more itchy shins, no more sensation of "my skin is so dry it feels tight". We use it all over, face to toes. When applied thick, you can see white streaks; think - sunblock. Massage it in and it disappears. For the face at night, we use a thicker layer, but it absorbs. The consistency is always a thicker, heavier lotion. The squeeze tube is a thinner one. This is thick and extraordinarily high quality. I can't recommend it enough - even if you just get seasonal dryness, this stuff takes care of it. It's worth every penny!

I have sensitive skin and this gives me no issues. Keeps me super hydrated. It’s thick but goes into the skin nicely without feeling like a paste. I also really enjoy the pump function!

I have horrendous dry skin and have fissures on a couple of fingers. But within a day my dry skin is almost gone, the fissures are almost healed and my skin looks smooth, clean, and feels so smooth and soft. This is the best lotion I’ve ever used. I just wish it wasn’t so greasy. That’s the only downside. But because I have sever eczema in the winter and from washing my hands a lot, I had to try something different than what I was doing because I was so embarrassed with my hands. But not anymore. I love this product.

I liked this Vanicream moisturizer very much! It’s very gentle and made for the face or body! I got it in the smaller travel size which is of course perfect for flying, but also great for giving the product a try! The consistency is thicker for dryer skin but it’s not greasy or sticky at all! Very effective for someone who needs a moisturizer without any irritants or perfumes! The only small issue I had was it seems to have a heavier silicone base. If you’re not wearing makeup, it’s perfect for drier facial skin. However, it did pill pretty bad if I tried to put anything else on top of it like sunscreen or makeup. Every skin is different of course, so if your not wearing need a good, versatile thick moisturizer, give it a try!

Works really well for me being over 60 with really dry skin. Recommended by my dermatologist and after all the expensive creams I have used this is simple and inexpensive!

Amazing for the winter! A nice thick moisturiser, can be used for anything, face and body, I do both. 10000% worth the price for two tubs, it’s been 9 months and I got an inch of product left before I finish my first tub. Although the pump got cracked during shipment.
