Water Bottle (24oz) - 2 Pack - #1 Light weight and compact collapsible water bottle. Folding water bottle.

Fell apart minutes after filling them at the airport water station, caribeeners snapped and the lids do not stay closed, my backpack was drenched!!! Terrible quality!!

One arrived with a non-functioning lid. The other one that wasn't defective did work really well for travel, but I didn't have time before my trip to address the broken one with the seller, so it's a good thing I had ordered a different brand as well so we had enough working bottles.

First thing: - Make sure you wash these "bottles". Mine had a faint scent of gun (machine?) oil. I washed them with a dish detergent that removes most oils and grease, then rinsed at least five times. Make sure you pop open the bottle, so the bottom can stand on its own.Next thing - this ain't 24 ounces, at least not the two "bottles" I received. I tried pouring a measured 24 ounces of cold water into the bag. NOPE. I got approximately 20 ounces to the top of the bag, so I put the cap on, and put that into the fridge. I then took the other "bottle" and ran water from the faucet to fill the bag, then poured that into a measuring cup. 20 ounces. I tried this twice more, kneading the bag, and seeing if maybe I just wasn't opening the bag fully. I mean, the bag says "0.7 L, BPA Free", right? Just like the Moon is made of green cheese (or mochi).Specs (approx.): Bag - length - 9.0 in. (23cm), with cap - 10.25 in. (26 cm). Width - 4.25 in. (10.5 cm). Depth - 2 in. (5.5 cm)The carabiner is plastic, approx. 2.5 in. L x 1.5 in. W with a metal wire gate.My initial squeeze tests after filling the "bottle" showed no leakage.These "bottles" are not insulated, and will sweat with cold liquids.More usage will reveal more facts, but my feeling is if you're daypacking, or doing short hikes, these would be good, anything more, you should get something more traditional to hold water.

They're inherently hard to clean and the little hook could have been made with some better material/design, but, all-in-all, these are a great buy. They fit enough water to get you by in most situations, the fold down to basically nothing when they're not in use and they don't leak at all.

Great product for what I wanted. VERY LIGHT. Excellent for travelling because it's so light weight & rolls up small in luggage. I carry one in my purse all the time.

Lid doesn't close securely. Leaks. Especially problematic when traveling. I would not recommend it. Also the carabiner is for looks only.

Too top heavy & can't stay folded.

The plastic is a strange hard kind so it's not as much of a bag as I thought. The red clip is not that sturdy, so over time I have lost both on the 2 that I bought. These were functional in that they pack light and are a good emergency source of water. It was our only source in a walk around Uluru in a dry, hot climate, but they are small, so it's more of a backup to another source.
