Pretty decent model kit!
The media could not be loaded. Let me start off by saying this is a big box! The kit has very many pieces as it has a full interior, molded in tan. Many of the interior pieces are a very tight fit but using small files or a nail file works wonders in fixing this. There are some historical inaccuracies, however I'm a hobby builder and not a competitor so it doesn't matter as much to me. One example of this being the actual Tiger I has ammunition 4 wide not 3. Overall a decent model. I purchased this for around $40-45 if I remember correctly which is the same as the Tamiya kit without an interior. I figured more plasitc for same price in this Airfix/Academy rebox kit. Great deal! This was an extremely fun build, just be careful not to loose any of the very small pieces. If you're on the fence about this kit, JUST BUY IT! You won't regret it!Please take a look at my pictures and video! Also if you're interested you can see more pictures on my Instagram: johns_model_kits I have many interior pictures and I discuss my build a bit on there. If you have questions about this model message me on there. I'd be happy to answer them!

This 'Honey' is an incredibly 'Sweet' deal....
Although this tank kit is diminutive in stature, it's VALUE is massive (Approximately $25.00 door-to-door). The exterior details are more or less "Tamiya level" AND the interior compartment detailing was far better than expected given the kit price point.I've completed countless WW-2 German armor kits, so I've made a concerted effort to build non-German kits over the past two years and I've thoroughly enjoyed the change in focus.I airbrushed a dark grey primer coat, followed by a desert tan base color coat and then used hobby masking tape to mask off the desert tan and then applied a blue/grey split pattern scheme with a final olive green layer on the turret top. Unfortunately, I lost more of the blue tone than I intended after applying filters, pin washed, artist oils and streaking enamels. Although I really liked the end result, I nonetheless regret losing too much of the blue tone as this was such a unique scheme by the Brits. This kit is roughly 95% complete. I'll add some Pigments to the tracks and some of the surface panels at a later date, but overall, this kit is an absolute HOME RUN.Update: 01.24.2022 - I decided to redo my little Honey and I'm happier with the results.

Perfection in Miniature!
This is an outstanding kit, of the caliber of the best I have seen from Tamiya. On a scale of 1 - 5, with 5 being the best, here's how I would rate it:Accuracy: 5Detail: 5Part Definition (lack of flash): 5Fit: 5Plastic Quality: 5Decals: 5Instructions: 5One of the best parts of this model is that the tracks are each molded as a single piece in the correct loop shape, i.e. they are not rubber band tracks like those found on most 1/76 scale tanks. They are molded in the same rigid plastic as the rest of the parts in the kit and the fit is exquisite! The only caution regarding this kit is I do not think it is a Skill Level 1 kit, as the box indicates, because it has some very small parts which for most people will require tweezers and possibly a magnifying glass. Nevertheless, because the fit is truly perfect, assembly is very easy. I highly recommend this kit and hope Airfix makes more like it (particularly regarding the tracks). This kit is a huge step above other Airfix kits I have seen.

One of the best model on the market currently
I had just finished a Tamiya model of the same tank. I found that the airfix model surpassed the Tamiya. I was surprised in all aspects of the fit and finish. If you are an occasional modeler or a die hard experienced competition modeler. This is a great experience. Detail is tremendous and no scale modeler worth their salt will have any complaints. Worth every penny which is well priced.

Finally I found it.
Hard to find. Try to replicate a comic book tank about a haunted tank call Jeb Stuart. The details is decent.

Airfix sucks
this was without question the worst kit i have ever built. the fit of parts was terrible and i spent as much if not more time molding and evening out bad engeneered parts. there are small parts that have no tabs to glue them together, only smooth surface to smooth surface. the paint scheme would have been easier if they included in the directions which were also terrible, a paint chart with the numbers for the right paints. then the directions themselves were a mess. a line pointing to the part with the sprew and number, then the color number, then a terrible diagram of where the parts go and how.no bottom line is that i can't give a negative number to express my dislike of this company, so all i will say is that this is the first and last time i buy an Airfix model kit of any kind. it is complete trash.

A kit that has four variants
The Airfix 1:72 scale Willys British Airborne Jeep Kit has the exact possible variants that I was looking for. You can make a standard US or British Jeep, add a trailer, switch out the machine gun for 30 cal. to 50 cal. and it has a pack howitzer. I have bought two kits. I am going to make one as a litter Jeep and the second as a typical Jeep with trailer. The kit is perfect for what I intend to build.
