Very nice little unit. This product is easy to adjust and clean. Moves what 2 used to.

The ones I have used all function fine. The magnet is strong enough for thick glass, they're quiet while operating and produce good volume water movement for aeration. HOWEVER, (and this is true for all products that have insulated wires that are submerged...) these wave makers need cleaning occasionally. I always clean mine during water changes. That means they're being handled and moved. The insulated wire that is submerged becomes brittle, and will eventually break at the molded connection to the unit. I strongly recommend that the user inspects this connection routinely, as the insulation may fail and cause exposed wires while the unit still functions correctly. This could be extremely hazardous to your fish. That being said, while these units may continue to function, they should probably be replaced on a regular basis, depending on the status of this flaw. I'm no materials expert, but I'm thinking there must be an available wire insulation that is more silicon-based that could be used by manufacturers to avoid this situation.

Very quiet and powerful. Be sure to select right size for your aquarium. Doesn’t appear the duel heads allow for selecting separate wave actions, which would be perfect.

Nice unit to use on a timer in my 26 gallon reservoir for my irrigation system to keep nutrients mixed

About one of these late October it’s just now mid January and it’s already broken. I’ve bought two of these from this particular seller and neither one of them has lasted more than a two or three months very poor made low quality product. I’m going to try to find a different brand. Definitely don’t recommend.

I bought this product 2 years ago and from the get-go it was flaky at best. Once in awhile the fan will stop working. You would have to take the front casing off and readjust the impeller inside so it would work properly. After about 2 years, a month ago a couple of my fish were turning grayish and we're getting very weak and dying. When I put my hand in the water during a cleaning/water change, there was a electrical current running through the water and it was electrocuting me and the fish. Although, it wasn't enough voltage to kill my fish or myself, nonetheless there was still an electrical current running in my tank. I was able to determine that it was in fact this exact product that was the cause of the electricity in the water. I highly recommend you spend a little bit extra and get a product that won't kill your fish or quite possibly a human.

Very poor product. Didn't move very much water and was extremely noisy.
