Excellent replacement.
A perfect replacement fit original unit. I did not use paper gasket! I used the metal/mounded seal gasket from the Fel-pro timing cover gasket kit as it is superior.

Just what I expected. Works great and I can tell that it is a durable long lasting part...I read how to do the replacing or the water pump on my automobile...aka 99 Bonneville and it said to use rtf silicone on gasket. I didn't do this because the gasket that came with it was paper like a thermostat housing gasket...I just over torque it by 5 pounds...I even bent the gasket to 45 degrees and it was still strong...I was shocked...wish it would have came with the aluminum/silicone gasket like felpro...but high quality for the price paid..very happy with the quality of the part...came 1 day early on shipping...

Surprisingly high quality pump. Apparently GMB makes OEM pumps for a lot of manufacturers. Has held up fine for the last 10k miles. Including the gasket was appreciated.

The wrong part # listed
This water pump is not what is pictured. It does not fit a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8. Had to return and wait another 2 days for the right pump. Again this part does not fit, I haven't had any trouble getting the wrong parts from any supplier on Amazon until now.
