Bear Claw That Eats Through Ice This SubZero Bear Claw Ice Scraper has quickly become one of those small tools I didn’t know I needed until I had it. The size is perfect—just big enough to get a good grip, but not so bulky that it takes up glovebox or door pocket space. The bright yellow makes it easy to spot when tossed in the trunk or a messy winter bag. One thing to keep in mind: because it’s compact, it’s really a dedicated scraper—not a snow brush. If you need to push heavy snow off a truck or SUV roof, you’ll want a longer tool. But for quick morning clears, this thing is fantastic. Bottom line: A tough, handy, glove-box-friendly scraper that makes short work of ice and frost. A simple tool done right.

I bought 2 of these SubZero 16721 10" Bear Claw Ice Scrapers. I had bought these same SubZero 16721 10" Bear Claw Ice Scrapers about 4 years ago and love them. They work great for scraping and loosening ice from our vehicle windshields and windows. But, what I mostly use these for year-round, is for scraping and chipping out the ice that builds up around the edges and seals in our large chest freezers. I also use one for our refrigerators' side-by-side freezer. These Bear Claw Ice Scrapers are fantastic for this purpose and now I keep one by each freezer! I am super happy with the size and how well these are made. These things last quite well and my original 2 are still in use and are kept for our vehicles!

good scraper but at the same time its inconvient. the handle falls off but it will go back together.

I had a feeling that this very inexpensive scraper would show it's true colors under emergency. I woke up 5:28 AM and had to leave by 5:30 AM to get to work on time. (Opening up a school in this case) Pants on, and I'm flying out the door in a full sprint. We don't get much snow, but the ice on windows is brutal. I come out to a black car with white windows. Full on, giant crystals on every glass surface. I sigh and pull out the scraper and start frantically scraping. This bad boy must have a +6 Vorpal enchantment because Christ Almighty, it cut through 1/4" ice like jet fuel and steel beams. Overall very happy. Would recommend. Scrapes a straight line, very sturdy and comes in two pieces so it fits like a glove. In a glove box.

Works great!!! Sturdy and effective! Easy to grasp.

Failed miserably on real ice coated window. Works fine for light frost/snow but if you get a real solid feeze, your credit card works better as a scraper. You can't have plastic work on real ice.
