LAUNCH CRP123X V3.0 Elite ABS S*R~ Engine Transmission Car Diagnostic Tool

I spent along time shopping around and researching for a suitable OBD2 tool, I got sick of not having limited functions and decided to give this a go, It takes a little of getting used too when I've mostly used cheap and cheerful OBD readers in the past, the instructions are most useful for this, the device has plenty of battery and doesn't take long to charge up, it can even use power via the OBD port to keep powered, it has the ability to automatically detect the car you're plugged into and the manualy search for what you need, the software updates didn't take long and I wanted to ensure that I brought a device that is updated constantly, the device has lots of functions such as battery testing, light resetting, live readings, more in depth investigations and even the ability to create a report so it can be used in a professional basis, I most happy when I used the reader to carry out a DPF check and DPF sensor reset, saving me alot of money, overall the device is easy to use, has alot of features, seems very robust and strong and for the price, you get alot of abilities, essential for any mechanic

Ive had my eye on this scanner for a while now and Im so glad I bought it, its an amazing obd2 reader it automatically scans the vehicle to get the vin number and then it will scan all the modules on the car for problems and should it find any it explains what the problem most likely is going to be, my initial reason for buying was to to put my electric parking brake in service mode but this tool can do so much more you wont be disappointed. All in all a fantastic tool at a fantastic price.

Excellent product with loads of features - very intuitive software too makes it easy to diagnose issues (in my case a wheel speed sensor). Highly recommend for the price!

​I am really enjoying using the Launch CRP123X. It is a fantastic piece of kit for the price. The touchscreen is responsive, and it covers all the essential systems like Engine, Transmission, ABS, and SRS. Being able to update it directly over Wi-Fi is a huge plus. It has already helped me diagnose issues quickly. Highly recommended for any home mechanic!

I am a uk customer always have been yet today I find that the company who produced my scanner do not support it because it is an import !! How can an item be sold to the uk market but because I’ve purchased it from Amazon I have no support from the manufacturer ? I feel i was rather hasty in my above review, the device I own has worked well for all that i asked of it and only when i wanted to update it I was frustrated that Launch informed me that the device was an import which i guess should have come from Amazon, the device is well worth the money and i wouldn't hesitate, finance willing, to purchase the more powerful launch devices

I’ve been really impressed with the LAUNCH CRP123X V3.0 Elite. For basic and intermediate diagnostics it’s a very capable unit, but it also has some surprisingly useful manufacturer-specific functions, including bi-directional diagnostics and some coding capabilities. For example, on my Mercedes W212 I had a persistent bonnet latch fault caused by a wiring issue that wasn’t resolved by replacing the sensors. Using the LAUNCH, I was able to code out the bonnet latch monitoring, which solved the problem for me. It has also been particularly useful with Stellantis vehicles. Unlike another diagnostic reader I own, this seems able to communicate with Citroën and Peugeot vehicles without requiring a constant internet connection. I’ve successfully used it to reset an AdBlue countdown following a pump failure, along with diagnosing and clearing a host of other issues. Out of the box it will read useful systems including the engine, gearbox and ABS. If you want access to all modules and the more specialist functions, additional manufacturer packages/subscriptions are available through the store. These can become expensive if you work across lots of different makes, so that is worth bearing in mind. There are also a few quirks with vehicle selection. For example, I’ve found a Mercedes Citan can sometimes be better accessed as its Renault Kangoo equivalent. Some commercial vehicles, including certain Sprinters, can also require separate commercial packages, so you can occasionally get caught out by additional purchases. It isn’t completely dealer-level either. There are still operations where manufacturer security gets in the way. Volvo is one example I’ve encountered, where certain procedures such as resetting the On Call battery can require vehicle PINs or security codes that the scanner cannot simply bypass. Overall, though, it’s a solid unit with good build quality and a huge amount of functionality for the money. For the sort of diagnostic and repair work most owners or independent mechanics are likely to encounter, I’d say it will comfortably do 99% of what I need. Just be aware that the specialist manufacturer functions and commercial vehicle coverage can add to the overall cost.

Avoid this item unless you want to pay a subscription charge to unlock most of its features

I first bought this brand 8 years ago, and always been impressed, not found a car it hasn't worked with. Updates are great offers excellent value for money highly recommend

Me ha sorprendido gratamente el LAUNCH CRP123X V2.0. Es muy intuitivo y rápido al escanear los sistemas principales (motor, transmisión, ABS y SRS). La pantalla táctil responde de maravilla y las actualizaciones por Wi-Fi son un gran plus. Muy recomendado tanto para aficionados como para quienes buscan algo más profesional sin complicaciones.

Arrivato in ritardo ma in compenso funziona benissimo aono riuscito a trovare e a riparare un errore che in 2 anni di andare e ripieni dal meccanico non avevo risolto e in più è stato ottimo per resettare codice di errore freni dopo il cambio .aono davvero soddisfatto ho fatto un vero affare complimenti buon prodotto per la skoda octavia sw anno 2022

très bon produit, qualité / prix, convient parfaitement à mon véhicule, car pas évident de trouver pour Peugeot 307 SW, très facile d'utilisation ! le seul bémol, pas de notice en français, juste une notice de démarrage, grâce à mon petit anglais j'ai pu configurer l'appareil, mais pas assez bon anglais pour ce qui concerne les réglages technique ! Sinon si il y avait une notice complète en français ce serait absolument parfait ! Peut-être qu'elle existe !
