Doc said to try it for VM. It's hard to tell if it's helped, but there are no negative effects yet.

The butterbur works but I did read someone’s else review that mentioned that it has rice flour in it. I was put onto butterbur because I was looking miserable because of my allergies and my cousin had some that he gave me. Worked within minutes. This does help with my allergies, but I do feel like the other brand was more potent. This slows down the effects of my allergies, but the other brand seemed to stop them dead in their tracks. Great value though and it does work but maybe not as effective as other brands that are straight butterbur root.

I've had migraines for years and tried so many treatments, some prescribed and other over the counter. My wife originally found some Petadolex brand butterbur which was somewhat effective as long as I took it soon after symptoms started. They were soo expensive that I never tried them for a daily preventative regiment.My available prescription drugs have narrowed and had some bad side effects on effective daily dose type drugs. I wanted to try butterbur again and decided to try this brand which is very cost effective per pill. I am starting my test with two pills per day and it seems to have significantly reduced my migraine frequency. I finally woke up with a pretty bad migraine and I took 3 of these pills and amazingly my migraine was stopped. I am getting no side effects from butterbur and hopeful to have a cost effective treatment.
