The Apex370 is ideal for singers, drummers or anyone who prefers to have their hands free during a performance and not be tied to a traditional mic and mic stand. The lightweight and easily adjusted wire frame is tough enough to withstand continuous, highly active use yet, be comfortable enough to wear for extended periods of time. The Apex370 features a dynamic cardioid microphone specifically optimized for close proximity use and as a dynamic mic does not require phantom power to operate. An attached 15-foot (4.6m) XLR microphone cable direct connects to any traditional PA mixer.

Excellent option
We bought this for my husband to use at work after his COVID furlough ended and our employer reopened. This way, he’s not sharing equipment with someone else and keeps himself safe. He said it’s excellent for his job, and that his only complaint is that the windsock falls off easily. The head band fits very well and there’s even a cord holder on the headset to keep the cord off your ear. The cord is super long if you need it. He doesn’t, but it’s easily contained. The cord also doesn’t get kinks in it very easily. He’s very happy with it and has recommended it to most of his coworkers.

Good mic for someone who speaks up... not for soft voices
Okay mic, fits well. Note that you need to place mic right at your lips, but this is good as it keeps room and background noise out. Person using this mic needs to project. If the person has a soft or light voice, they will be difficult to hear. Used this for a church translation system and it works great provided the person has the mic to their lips and speaks up.

Good mic poor windscreen
The microphone works very well and it comfortable to wear. My only dissapointment is the windscreen is not suffeciant to reduce wind and pop noise.

Apex 370 Dynamic Headset Mic
I bought this mic to use with my vintage Digitech Guitar Talker. the first one was dead on arrivial. but front end audio sent me another. the sound quality is great it works for vocals and is great with the talker which is a vocoder it stays out of the way.

Not Professional Quality. Noisy. Ok, for kids to mess around.
I bought this microphone to be able to move around. The movement of the cord against your head and body are amplified as noise. Save your money and get something better. Because of covid, I didn't test this enough and now the return date has expired. My fault. I wish I would have applied the money to a better product. For the price, I will probably let my grand kids mess around with it. You get what you pay for, in this case $40.

sorry apex
I really don't like this item. The only positive I can say is I do like the xlr connection. It was flimsy and cheaply constructed and I was not happy.

Not a great microphone
Not good value for the money, the mic needs lots of gain to work properly so it requires a mixer with a mic input with the gain turned all of the way up. The tone is terrible and you have to roll off everything you can in the low end to even make it workable. There is also way too much handling noise that gets into the mic which is indicative of a cheap product...best to avoid this mic.
