Great quality fabric and workmanship but the size ran large. I ordered the same jeans, same size in blue from same company. They are true to size.

First of all, I love JAG jeans and have bought several pairs. They are amazingly comfortable and hold up really well. However, buyer beware....if you go a couple of years without buying any new ones, the sizes change a bit. Case in point: I typically take an 8 in the paley bootcut jean, so I re-ordered the exact same jean I always get. When they came, they just fit me....differently, despite the fact that I'm the same weight I was when I bought the last pair. As in, a bit tighter in the crotch area -- not a good thing! I did some measuring and comparing the old jeans to the new ones, and the new ones have a waistband that's about 1/2 inch shorter (not tighter, literally shorter in length) than my old ones. This cannot be accounted for in the stretching out of the old jean...it's a re-design on the new pair. So they don't fit as comfortably as my old ones do. My recommendation is to buy a size larger if it's been more than 2 years since your last purchase. They're the same great jeans, but the sizing has definitely changed.

I've purchased these from another vendors, and this pair seems to run very big compared to those. I didn't return them (probably should have), as I expect they will shrink some. I purchased an 8 and I feel they're really a 10. The waist is HUGE and the thighs are very baggy. I've average sized and my thighs are not thin, but these were extra baggy on them.
