I found out by chance that I needed these
Stumbled on a decent YouTube vid about glasses design recently, and until I did, I never knew that I needed these. Do opticians hope to make money from broken glasses that have slid off your face? If it's not that, why don't they sell them (possible answer- too cheap? no profit margins? after all my optician soends considerable time and resources trolling me about overpriced fashion frames for no reason - so I'm changing optician!).Because of the "cutaway" design they are easy to fit and effective to use. Especially useful to this varifocal user as the appropriate position is maintained to give an effective field of vision. This for the first time since I originally had these fitted several years ago.Why only 4 stars? Two reasons -1,. They will not suit any frames - it will depend on the fit and shape of the arms and the shape and size of your skull. But other silicone appendages are also available on amazon which might do a better job in a different context (and they do on my other specs). Search for glasses ear grip hooks or nosepads.2. I really don't want a variety of colours. Just black. Give me the choice.Overall though, a thoroughly useful item that I didn't know I needed, but now wouldn't be without.

They do a great job!
They were certainly comfortable and definitely stopped my glasses continually slipping down my nose when I put my head down to type (as I am now and have done for most of the day!).My only quibble is that they are, for my glasses/ears at least, rather too long (they protrude forward a little far, making them a trifle conspicuous—it hardly matters, at worst it looks like I'm wearing some kind of spectacle-mounted hearing aid!).They do a great job and cost very little. Definitely worth a try!PS: They do make the tails of your glasses fatter and rubberier—so they might not glide in and out of your short pocket so slickly (perhaps another bonus?)

Stop my specs slipping down my nose
These are soft and comfy to wear and versatile in the manner in which you apply them to specs.

Spectacle Sleeves
Not quite what I had in mind as these are not full sleeves. The central portion of the sleeve is missing and this might be so they can slip onto the spectacles easier. They help prevent slippage and add an extra barrier between the skin and the temples. Worth a buy.
