Inditrust Steel Block Carpenter Plane (7-inch, Red)

A great product, I sorted out all my doors at home which were tight in the door frame. Did not need to call a carpenter. Now my doors are closing smoothly. The blade came sharp, but I made it sharper for a lighter smith glide. Overall a great tool but then what do you do with it after you have fixed all your problematic doors and windows? Maybe start a new hobby, or start a carpenter service. Or just lend it to someone who needs it. Definitely don't return it to Amazon.😉

The product came disassembled (pic 1) in a crushed package. The blade is pretty disappointing. Blunt, rugged and out of square (pic 2). Sharpening helped removing the rugged edge and made it square (pic 3), but the sharpness is not very good. Might come handy for odd jobs.

Not that Smooth as espected

Needed this tool and ordered after seeing few positive reviews. Packaging was very bad, the blade was stunt in few places already. Packaging box was torn already. This tool poorly made, poorly designed and over all the quality is not good at all. The width of the blade is smaller, it is not sitting tightly. It is such a simple tool, too bad to see that the maker of this tool are interested in money, not providing a quality one. Make in India is a pity of these kind of low quality tools are sold online. RETURNED, no other way.

I have a mental irritation because of my door was swelling during this rainy periods and not closing properly. This one relieves from that irritation and brings peace of mind. Nothing to complaint about the product quality. It is very good and serves the purpose. Well done. So five stars.

Ok ok product.

Not so great. obviously you have to sharpen the chisel. anyway it will be required for any chisel after some usage. The plastic parts are not good, should've avoided. anyway, i will replace it DIY with metal or wood later.
