Very informative book, a great insight into icelandic history when Christianity was brought over, and a very insightful book if you’re learning witchcraft as it includes quite a few symbols and scribes as well as guides on how they were/are used. book is small-ish and quite thin so good for journeys as well

A great resource for anyone interested in a study of traditional magic performed in Europe during Christianisation. A real insight into the hearts and minds of those living through a turbulent period in cultural history. A must for any serious occultist interested in galdr.

I expected more but that may just be my need to know moreI was expecting to see a robust description and examination of the content, however this was not the case so a bit dusappiutned as it was expensive

i'm enjoying this book, delivery great good Icelandic history. And the written work is very interesting.

the binding and presentation of the text and the title could be a little more in the spirit of the theme of the book.
