Black 12" Desk Fan

It's a fan, so what can I say? It looks the biz, it does the job. Assembled in minutes. Pretty silent, bought to replace one that was old and had become noisy. Always useful to have a few fans around for the summer heat peak, they make a massive difference to comfort. One next to bed, one next to desk, one next to my comfy chair, you get the picture.

Easy to assemble and works superbly well. Looks stylish. Well made and solid. Quiet with excellent airflow. Will buy this product again when I need one. Only drawback is not delivered by Amazon. Came via Evri who are poor at best.

Does what it is supposed to do at reasonable price. Would recommend.

Ok so as someone who seems to go through a lot of fans (my son has an uncanny knack of breaking fans and tin openers 🤷🏻‍♀️) I wasn't really expecting to be impressed by this but I really am! We're in the midst of a heatwave here in Bonnie Scotland and my surviving pedestal fanup the loft so I ordered 2 of these for the bedrooms to help keep us and the dogs cool. They're very easy and straightforward to assemble, lightweight enough to easily move from room to room if required and quiet, so should be good for using at night without keeping me awake (I have ADHD and need a quiet room to sleep) I set mine up on the windowsill at the opened window to help circulate fresh air, put it on the lowest setting and pointed it over towards my bed, which is a fair distance away and where up until that point I'd been lying in a sweaty, melting mess, drinking ice cold juice to try and cool down whilst watching telly 🤣 Fast forward 15 minutes and I had to turn it off because I'd went from melting to death (seriously) to being genuinely baltic....I was considering getting under the covers and my skin was properly cold to the touch! 🤣 If that's how well it does on the lowest setting then it'd be like Siberia on the higher ones... amazing! If you want an easy to assemble, portable, powerful yet quiet fan.. this is the droid you are looking for! :)

Nice size fan. Exactly what I wanted. Very quiet. With good airflow.

Noise level: Brilliant, my son wanted to have the fan on his desk next to his bed as he was having trouble sleeping in the heat so I needed it to be nice and quiet while he was sleeping. Cooling effect: Very effective, in the recent heat wave. Unable to sleep with windows open due to traffic levels outside, this has been amazing for keeping cool at night. Fan power: Doesn't even need to be on full power to be effective

Schallen Home & Office Electric 12" 3 Speed Desk Fan Item arrive promptly in suppliers packaging. Fan Inside had pieces wrapped in plastic bags tied with simple knots. After assembly the fan was started an the lowest speed setting. Describes as a desk fan, the lowest speed is in my opinion too fast, with it being impossible to use this on the desk you are seated at. I moved it to around 6 feet away and it was still to strong for conformable use. Yes the fan was three speed, but the function is poor as this is fast, and a little faster. Not slow to fast. The fan is noisy, and again not suitable as a desk fan in my opinion. I certainly could not sleep with this running in a bedroom. My unit also had a vibration due to the flimsy fan blade not being fully balanced. This added additional noise. My 'Black' unit is very shiny, and some parts feel flimsy. For example the vertical direction adjustment feels like it might break during any movement. As you might guess the unit was rejected for return within 5 Mins of testing. I would not recommend this unit.

Product arrived very battered with holes in tbe box. This fan is fiendishly difficult to assemble. It took two of us about 40 minutes in total. The instructions are very poor. There are basically two parts of the mechanism which you need to remove in order to attach the blades, this not clear from the instructions. The parts arrived screwed on so tightly that they were almost impossible to remove. In the end we managed to remove them by using a rubber glove to get a decent grip. Very nearly gave up and returned the product. The assembled fan seems great, fairly powerful and quiet too but wow what a faff!
