This makeup is great for a natural, smooth look. Works great on mature skin whether applied wet or dry.

I really enjoy this face powder overall. I have oily skin, so it can be pretty necessary for me to wear something over any foundation, BB cream or whatever else I might be wearing. The color I got is Laurel Nude. I'm not too sure how well this line will work for people with really fair skin, because I'm pretty sure I got the lightest color available; I'm not very tan, but I'm also not very fair. I have an olive complexion, so that means yellow tones during winter, golden during summer - and this is still very *slightly* too dark for me. Come summer, it'll be an instant fix. So if you're really pale, be wary because it might be very difficult for you to find a color that will work for you.So, the pros and cons:Pros: This product doesn't ever cause breakouts for me. I always get really worried when I put products on my face that the combination of my oils and the products will create a biohazard area. But this has not given me a single pimple, so it's amazing in that regard. Love that!Lasts a decent amount of time before I have to reapply, but I don't expect miracles with face powder in this regard, because like I said, I have very oily skin. It's pretty normal for me to have to reapply things at some point.I love, once this sets into my face, how smooth it makes everything - without that weird, cakey, and obviously powdery look.Semi con: I'm not entirely sure how this is supposed to be applied wet? I tried the sponge it came with, and it didn't work very well for me, and then I tried a brush, but that also didn't work very well for me. However, I'm not too concerned about that because I got it wanting a dry face powder.Con: Needs more color options. They have quite a few to choose from, but they need some lighter colors for the fairer skinned women who are interested in the product.All in all, I recommend this product - if you're not really pale.(I've attached two pictures - 1 is in admittedly kind of crappy bathroom lighting, the other is in natural lighting on a semi-overcast day.

I think the wet dry foundation is good quality but it is very hard to determine the right shade for me

I have been buying this foundation for 22 yrs from my local Sally Beauty Supply store. I started wearing it when I was 13&had bad acne, so it covered perfectly, better than any other foundation I had tried&still currently, have tried! I have tremendously oily skin&it keeps the oil down w/a matte finish for the longest time, at least 8hrs, which is the best I've found in 20+yrs due to such a high oil production on my face. Lightweight, even tho I layer w/liquid foundation first, then finish w/this Palladio foundation. Gives a perfect flawless look! Recipe hasn't changed in all these yrs, thankfully! I've also always used the same color-Cypress Beige-color has not changed in all these years either! This beauty item is a must-have for me! I've never tried it using it as a "wet foundation", only as a setting powder, so no review from me on that application.

I bought the lightest shade and it was too dark. I’m fair completed. In other brands I usually buy the second to the lightest shade. Also, I used it wet and as it dried it felt tight on my skin. I had it on for about an hour and had to wash it off and start over. Threw it in the trash and I love other Palladio products but not this one.

This is a fantastic product at a very reasonable price, that I have been using for many years. I have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts plus I cannot put most other foundations around my eye area. It can be worn on its own as a light powder which is very natural looking, or used wet with the sponge so it is also versatile.
