I love this thing. I moved and can’t find the one that I had originally. The one that I had originally lasted about two years so far and it was still sturdy and strong. The material is very soft. The straps are very sturdy so rubbing them and pulling them when you’re applying product works just fine. They can take it. Very easy to wash, and I washed it a lot. No shrinkage, no change in the material whatsoever. Very helpful in applying product to your back and hard to reach places. It is a lifesaver. The only reason I purchased a second one is because I packed the first one so good that I can’t find it. Great product.!

Just what I needed to apply lotion on my back. So soft and easy to use. Gave it 4 stars because I don't know how much is absorbed into the fabric. Feels great, though!

This is a very good alternative to applying skin moisturizer to one's back with a wooden spatula, which was my previous method. It spreads the lotion well, is less time consuming, and seems to eliminate the itching and red rash my dry skin is prone to. I purchased 2 because I anticipated needing to launder it often, but it does not overly absorb what you want to apply to your skin, therefore does not seem like a materials which absorbs more than it allows you to apply.

This is a great tool for applying lotion to your back. I have really dry skin and needed a way to apply lotion to my back where I can’t reach. I considered the various options sold here that look like a bath brush with a handle but no bristles. Then I started reading reviews and they all seemed to either be so stiff they scraped the back, they didn’t hold the lotion at all so it dripped off onto the floor before getting to your back or they absorbed most of the lotion so they became a sticky mess that eventually molded. I got this instead and I’m delighted with it. It keeps the lotion on but applies it to my back, it doesn’t absorb the lotion and it’s nicely soft, like velour. I recommend it highly. Pros: it holds the lotion enough to get it to your back, it is very long so you don’t have to be a contortionist to reach all of your back, it doesn’t absorb the lotion so it stays clean and it is washable in the washing machine and it’s soft so your skin won’t feel abraded. Cons: I seriously doubt it will work well for self-tanning lotion. I haven’t tried it for this but just looking at how it applies lotion to my back - I watched in the mirror - it doesn’t apply it evenly enough to get the type of seamless coverage you need for self-tanners. Unless your goal is to look like your skin color is dappled on your back, I’d pick a different tool.

Works fine. It isn't so convenient that I would use it each and every time I need to apply cream on my back. I would use it for the very tough spots to reach but if I can reach the area even a little bit I will not bother pulling this contraption out. Also, it seems as if a lot of the cream is absorbed into the applicator's material or either it spreads way beyond the area the cream was applied to the applicator.

I was not confident that this thing would work. I've never before used an applicator of this sort. However, a case of dermatitis made it necessary to get one of these things to spread the treatment cream on my back. To my surprise, with a little experimentation it became quite easy to use and effective. The applicator is a good size and appears to be well made. The fabric is very comfortable and holds onto the cream well. I have been using it for only a few weeks, so time will tell just how it stands up to heavy use. ADDITIONAL COMMENT: It is now almost a year after my initial purchase. I have used it daily and it has served me well. Only now is beginning to show the results of hard use. The inner lining appears to be coming loose. I have happily ordered a replacement. ANOTHER YEAR LATER: I'm still delighted with this item. It hold up to daily use, weekly washing, and aggressive wringing out after washing. I'm about to order another one. The inner lining is again separating, probably in response to my weekly washing and wringing. At $0.02/day for a year of use, it is a bargain. STILL ANOTHER YEAR LATER (2022). I ordered another one of these after the second one gave out a year later. The new one was constructed differently. The inner lining is gone and the price reduced significantly. This lotion applicator works just as well as the previous version and is holding up a lot better without the inner lining. THIS IS A GREAT APPLICATOR now that the inner lining is gone. It promises to have a lot longer life without any loss in its function.

Genuinely hear me when I say tanning without someone to do my back has never been an option. I’ve tried EVERYTHING on the market to help my tan my back solo and it’s all been garbage, the rollers, the sticks to put your mit on.. all terrible and went in the bin instantly. I purchased this months ago but never used it cause just ‘knew’ it would be another flop. Well after an illness I needed a pick me up so decided to brave it. Oh my goodness it’s changed the game, it’s flawless. It’s put my tan on PERFECTLY. With such ease. It’s so soft, left me with a flawless tan. It’s just the right length. As someone who’s been tanning for nearing 15 years I can tell you ladies you NEED this product. Can’t recommend enough. Half of it may be the tan I use - filter is my go to at the moment. Also highly recommend. This combo has been perfect! A*
