Replacement for Hamilton Beach Blender Blade Base Bottom Screw Cap Gasket

The plastic shaft on my blade split on my blender but the rest of the unit was fine. I ordered this as a replacement. I could not use the bottom piece as it did not fit the base but the gaskets and the blade fit my original base and the blender works beautifully. The funny thing is I never had two rubber gaskets and wasn't sure if it was an extra until I saw the video. Nothing leaks, the blade works well. The first thing I made was vanilla paste which requires the blender to chop them into a fine powdery consistency. It is actually recommended that a "high speed" i.e really expensive blender be used. My little Hamilton Beach did yoeman's work and the vanilla paste came out great.

I got this as a replacement for my Hamilton Beach blender 1.5 years ago. The main use of the blender is for smoothies, i.e. lots of frozen items. The blade handled the task well and was easy to clean. However, today the threads on the bottom piece with the teeth that interface with the motor decided to strip clean off. I think the blades are stainless steel, but the bottom cog/teeth have an aluminum component. The bottom piece is likely just not durable enough for really long use. Which is a shame since the blades and seal are fine still. Maybe a bit of sharpening and it'd good as new (maybe better). For $10 total and about 50 cents a month during its life, it isn't a bad deal. Just unfortunate that it broke as it was fine otherwise.

Perfect replacement for an old blender

My old parts had worn out and needed to be replaced. My new parts were a perfect fit and worked perfectly. Replacement parts cost a lot less than a brand new blender.

Unfortunately, this is absolute junk and does not chop fruit vegetables or ice. I have purchased the blade replacement part from another company in 2020 and then again in 2023. Those blades, chopped the ice and everything and gave me a really nice thick smoothie. I don’t know why I bought this brand this time but boy WhatsApp a mistake. I could put four strawberries in the blender with some water and these blades don’t even cut through the strawberries. And after I’m blending with the fruits and ice, I have to take a spoon and pull out the ice cubes that are left that didn’t get chopped.! I use the same speed for blender is over 30 years old works like a champ, but these blades leave a lot to be desired. Check other companies on Amazon. This one is less than subpar. My prior to blades were from “the blendin store”. I will be buying from them today. What a waste!
