Smart, Bright, and Beautiful – A Must-Have Upgrade!
I couldn’t be happier with the Geeni Prisma Plus 800 WiFi LED Smart Light Bulb! From unboxing to setup, everything was smooth and intuitive. The app integration is seamless—I had it connected to my Wi-Fi and customized in just minutes without needing a hub. The color range is absolutely stunning. Whether I want a vibrant splash of color to set the mood for movie night or a crisp, clean white light to focus during work hours, this bulb delivers. The tunable white feature is especially impressive—it adjusts from a soft warm glow to a bright daylight tone effortlessly. Voice control via Alexa and Google Assistant works flawlessly, and scheduling is super easy. I've set mine to slowly brighten in the morning as a gentle wake-up, and it's made a noticeable difference in my routine. Plus, it’s energy-efficient, which is a huge bonus. Overall, the Geeni Prisma Plus 800 offers top-tier smart lighting at a very affordable price. If you're looking to upgrade your home lighting with vivid colors and total control, this is the bulb to get!

Great bulbs at a good price to enter the smart home community
About a year ago almost now, I got my first smart device which was an Echo plus to go with my Amazon Prime account. From there, I got a Google home, a Home mini, and an Echo Dot (3rd gen) as well as a couple Amazon Smart plugs for the bedside lights in the bedroom. I had started seeing more and more Reviews for the Geeni bulbs (Merkury) on Youtube and decided to first get one from Walmart this year to try it. What I like: Bulb has a nice set of features such as colors, dimmable, (the Prisma Plus) tunable white temp. With the Colors, they aren't as bright as the white mode, however they are good color saturation, and have plenty of color variations to choose from. I especially like these bulb's color modes, because they are good for night when you might want softer light to see by, but not so bright it blinds you, or may keep you awake. The bulbs from Walmart are a 75w equiv, without the tunable white, but the colors are the same. The Prisma Plus is a 60w equiv and has the tunable white as well as the colors. I live in a one bedroom apartment, and these bulbs were reasonably priced so I was able to put one in most of my most used lamps / fixtures to get a good feel for smart lighting. If you're just starting out, I would start here, then, decide if you need, or want features of the more expensive brands. For me, at this point in time, I might get a more expensive bulb to try at some point, but I don't feel like I really need to as these do the core functions I was looking for.

Best smart products hands down
I have been using merkury/ geeni products for nearly a decade now. Easiest to set up via the geeni app and seamlessly integration to Alexa products. The lights go from a warm white glow to a bright daytime lighting. The colors are rich and fully adjustable in various shades and hues. I can turn the kitchen, garage or bedroom lights off from anywhere in the house with Alexa or the app (Great for the kids who never turn lights off) Dim the kitchen and hallway at night so you can see walking though without glaring lights. If the dog startd barking at something outside, I can raise the outdoor lights to max before even getting out of bed. (Then bring them down when it was a cat walking though the yard) Totally programmable through the app (sunrise off/sunset on) progressive brightness for waking up to or as the sunsets. The plugs are great too. All the products have been extremely durable and long lasting. These are the only smart products I buy or suggest

Coming down in price per bulb, and always work perfectly. I won't buy any other brand.
We have a number of lights in our house with "inconveniently-placed" switches. Added to that, my wife is becoming more challenged in her ability to easily get around. So, making her walk extra steps for the seemingly-simple task of turning lights on or off is unnecessarily cruel, when these lights allow us to consistently voice-control them with both our Google Home and Echo Dot devices wherever we are in the house. Geeni is my go-to for smart lighting solutions, and the color capability is just a nice bonus. Now, with the recent price drop, color is well worth the extra couple of bucks. They always work flawlessly with my smart home controllers (NO HUB REQUIRED!) so I stopped buying any other type a year or more ago. AND they last much longer than standard fluorescent bulbs (and comparably to other LED bulbs) so, what's not to like? These bulbs (along with the Geeni-brand wall switches, when smart bulbs are not an option!) are everything you'd want them to be.

Decent
Decent bulbs but here's my take.. Pros - Very easy setup - Many color and brightness toggle options - I like the feature that let's you label each room for clarity. - Being able to switch your lights on and off from your phone is also pretty neat. Cons - The bulbs arent bright enough for my taste. Even at max brightness (See pic, one with my den. That has a regular led bulb. The other is my computer room with the geeni bulb.) - Sometimes the bulb will need to be paired again if the connection from the internet changes or the router is off too long. If you think "Well, ill just use the default setting until I feel like using the app again." Wrong.. The bulb will just flash repeatedly like a rave party until you reconnect them to the app. Not that bad for one room. But imagine having a house full of these? Yes, its crazy how we need to be connected to an app which also needs to be connected to a wifi network to cut on lights now. 😂 These are great for a sports theme man cave or play room. Very easy on the eyes. My biggest gripe is the brightness and the reliant on the app.

Genni light bulbs
These are great and very easy to use. Setup through the app was simple, and both app and voice control work smoothly with no issues. Overall, they’ve been reliable and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. I would definitely recommend them. The only reason I’m moving away from Genni products is because I now get a significant discount with Govee and want everything in my home to be the same brand for a more seamless setup. That said, I still really like these and ended up giving them to my sister, who’s been enjoying them as well.

Not a good idea a “bright” idea!!
This is an awesome product. Easy set up, beautiful colors and easy to use! I scheduled my back door light to come on when I go to work, turn off for the day, and to be back on when I get home!!! Best thing is, I live where winter can be -50 with the wind chill…brrrr…and this light help up outside!!!

👌
Okay I’ll be the first to admit the geeni app can be annoying, whaddya mean you consistent forget who I am and my login? 🤷🏼♀️ however as a brand of lights it’s easy to buy and setup, the colours are super nice (I usually go with a pink/red at night so it’s easy on the eyes). I’ve gotta set the rest up but will buy more eventually.

Lights I can turn off & on from my iphone.
The best part of these lights is that I can operate them from anywhere. Great to have if your away and need to have lights on a timer. Easy to use and a quick set up. * I. do not have Alexa/Google so no idea if that works with the lights.
