Impressive Sound Output
Quality and sound output is as expected. Perfectly pairs with the Tone Zone. Recommended pickups for an authentic rock tone.

I bought Air zone not air Norton and the Air zone will make ur strats neck pickup sound like a Paul
I ordered the air zone and I freaking love it. Air zone and the tone zone 2 of best pickups ever made. I have a tone zone in 10 of 23 guitars I own and I completely love them. Put the air zone in 2 of my guitars in the neck position and their so warm and clear like making my RR1s sound like neck position in warmest les Paul custom. I love the duncon jazz neck too but way more love the Air zone. Get it you won't regret it

Great pickup, not as dark as they say
I put this in a 24 fret Ibanez S. It sounds really good - articulate and full. It also blends well with the Air Zone I have in the bridge. I get a little spank in the middle position. Rolling off the tone gets those smooth violin leads. I can also get a nice strong attack with the tone all the way up. It will stay in the guitar for sure.

Very Versatile Neck Pickup
This a fantastically versatile neck pickup. I love the sparkling AND fat clean sounds. With distortion, this pickup gives tons of sweet overtones which make for a really smooth lead sound. My only complaint would be the lows are a little lacking but that does not mean the sound isn't fat. You just don't get that booming which is actually good thing with lower tunings.

Pick Guard or Pickup Rings Needed (Not included)
I'm building a guitar which will not require a pick guard and pickup rings. DiMarzio dual humbucker pickups come with pickup rings or pick guard screws and springs but NO direct to guitar wood mounting screws... OUCH!!

Sweet Tones
Dimarzio makes high quality pickups. Still made in the USA. I have the Air Norton paired with a Super Distortion in the bridge. Both pickups are wired with a series/single/parallel coil tap switch. All pickup configurations sound amazing.

Bent frame
I bought the pickup...had it for months. When I went to install it I noticed the frame of the pickup was bent...pissed....wasn't sure if I could return it that late time...wrote it off on my taxes..smh.

Auch der DiMarzio Air Norton DP 193 Humbucker ist ein echter Klassiker unter den begehrten Pickups für 6-saitige E.-Gitarren. Vollmundig,dynamisch,sauber gefertigt,preisgerecht und absolut top im Soundverhalten! Besagter Tonabnehmer wurde als Neck-Pickup in Kombination eines DiMarzio „Rick Derringer Signature“ Humbuckers (Bridge-Position) in eine alte Electric Guitar des damaligen Herstellers „Starfield/made by Ibanez“ eingepflanzt. Diese,in den 1994er-Jahren in Korea gebaute E.-Gitarre hatte damalig werksseitig sehr einfache Tonabnehmer installiert,die ich unbedingt austauschen mußte. Das Ergebnis: Die Klangeigenschaften sind nun absolut top! Wer z.B. diese Kombi wählt,wird letztendlich garantiert sehr zufrieden sein. Larry DiMarzio ist für mich sowieso einer der erfahrensten „Pickup Gurus“,der nun bereits seit 1971 die besten Pickups zu bezahlbaren Preisen anbietet! Sicher gibt es durchaus noch etliche andere gute Pickup-Markenlabels,die jedoch viel teurer sind,und soundtechnisch leider nicht immer das Versprechen halten,das in der Werbung deklariert wird! Mein Rat: Sehr empfehlenswert! Vergebe hier deshalb sehr gerne die volle 5 Sternchenbewertung für die DiMarzio Humbucker! Mein Tipp: Hände weg von den so genannten „No Name Pickups“,die schlussendlich bedauerlicherweise am Ende nur enttäuschen.

Recibí una pastilla cuyo envoltorio en ningún lugar decía dp193 F spaced. La pastilla tampoco tenia serigrafiada la marca Dimarzio por ningún sitio. No me daba confianza y las devolví.
