I'm one of those people who doesn't tie and untie shoes unless I just have to. Not out of laziness, just convenience. I have a pair of walking shoes that I haven't tied or untied since I bought them. I just slip them on. So when I discovered these shoe strings I thought, "light bulb!" They're elastic! You fit them to your shoe and then cut off any extra and BAM. Slip on shoes forever with out the occasional hang up/NEED to tie or untie. They offer a variety of colors. Other then the ease of being able to slip on and off...it allows that extra STRETCH there when walking that your typical shoe string doesn't offer. If you're a runner there is no more worry of lose strings. They come w/ clips for each string that secure the shoe string on the inside of your shoe so you can cut off any remaining slack. I love them. When I get my shoelace I recieve a letter from seller, they enclosed an instruction video for me,I am very satisfied with the service. I think it was a great idea. I plan to get a few more pair for my kids. I also tried to show the clip that goes on the inside of the shoe itself. All in all I'm very satisfied.

This is the second pair of elastic no tie shoe laces I have ever tried and I have to say these are definitely superior to the first pair I tried. I like that I was able to hide the plastic clip inside my shoe. The other brand had a large squeeze type clip which sat on top of the shoe making it sort of ugly and these do not do that. These are sleek and handsome! The directions were not too difficult to understand and it took me less than five minutes to put them in my shoes; start to finish. The ends on the first style often stick out and I had to struggle with trying to tuck them in before I put my shoes on, but with these, I simply put my shoes on with no worries at all. They were quicker and easier to install as well. I highly recommend this style of no tie laces if you are considering them as these are the very best I have found. They are stretchy but not so stretchy that your shoes fall off. These would be great for kids of all ages! They arrived quickly and have a ton of colors to choose from. I chose the bright pink to replace my old boring white laces. These are a definite winner in my book!UPDATE: Here is how I attached the clip: I laced them up so that the ends ended up on the inside of my shoe, but you could lace them to the outside if you prefer. Then lay the plastic piece with the teeth toward the hole that the lace came through and wrap the lace all the way around the plastic lengthwise 180 degrees. Take the end of the lace and stick it through the closet hole, and then through the next hole i.e. weave it in and out. Then trim the lace up to the plastic piece. That is it and believe it or not these will hold and the laces will not come back out through the holes. I recommend not trimming them too short though. I left about a half inch of lace left.I always read through the customer reviews when deciding to purchase an item and realize the value that consumers place on them, so I take my reviews very seriously. I try to be truthful in disclosing as much information about my experience as I can so that you can feel comfortable making an informed decision. I really hope my review was helpful to you.

So far these are working just as well as the other, more expensive, brand. They do not come with the lace end covers though. Installation is easy: You simply lace your shoes with these like you would any other laces, run them through the clip, and then cut off any excess and lightly singe the end. It's a smart move to wear your shoes for a while before you cut the ends off to make sure that you have the fit right. I've only been using these for a week or so, but I will update my review if I find any faults.

Look carefully at the pictures and read the description, this may not be what you think it is. Once you’ve put these laces on, you trim them so they cannot be adjusted longer again.The directions that come with the laces in the package and the YouTube video are both pretty unhelpful. The best pictures are actually the ones here with the for sale item.We will see how they hold up, but my biggest disappointment is because I thought I was getting elastic shoelaces that you could adjust, I did not realize these would not work with shoes that don’t have holes. I bought them to replace shoelaces that were removed from a pair of shoes that have loops, not holes. So the little plastic clip totally shows and I seriously doubt it’s going to hold up.I added a picture to show what I mean about the loops. The shoe on the left has the original laces and the shoe on the right has these leases that I purchesed (not trimmed yet). There’s no way to hide the little plastic clips because of the design of the shoes.The second picture shows a single shoe with holes.

The only reason I didn't give this item five stars is because the plastic tabs were a bit uncomfortable at first. I don't know if I've broken them in or maybe just gotten use to it but I don't notice the tabs anymore. That being said these no tie laces do exactly what they are meant to do. I bought two pair, one for my ten year old son and one for my work shoes. I'm a nurse so I do a lot of walking. In the two weeks I've been wearing them I have not had any issue with them coming loose. So far they are working for my son as well. He didn't seem to have the same problem with the tabs causing discomfort as I did. The laces came in one size which fit both mine and my son's shoes after being trimmed (per the instructions). There is a helpful video on Youtube that demonstrates how to apply the tabs to secure the laces. All in all I would definitely buy this item again.
