Daughter Loves this Adventure/Mystery Series!
I am so glad our public library introduced my daughter to this series. She reads them over and over again. When I saw there were no reviews from the US, I just had to write one. The little girl Lottie lives at the British Museum with her Uncle Bert, a curator. They have many adventures and solve many mysteries together with the grounds caretaker Reg. They solve clues, which are offered as fun puzzles for the reader to figure out. The two adults bumble a bit, and even though they work together, Lottie often saves the day! Like the men struggle and sweat with math while Lottie works through it calmly, which I think really appeals to my kid and is funny. They go up against unscary villains including the head of the museum. I also have fun hearing my American daughter out of nowhere unexpectedly use British words and phrases! This might be her favorite in the series.

Captured the imagination of a 6 year old
My 6 year old loved this book and several others in the series. I liked that she was learning a few facts without realising! The codes were fun to crack.
