But First, Candy is a gorgeous jewel tone if you’re patient!
The media could not be loaded. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the thinness of this color, but I love jelly jewel tones in polish, how they give the appearance of gel nails (I don’t get gel because it thins your real nails). The key with the jelly polish is to go slow, apply thin, and layer until you get the desired tone. This polish is very runny, and very Kelly green on the first layer. As you add layers, it deepens to a beautiful emerald jewel tone. The trick is to apply very thin layers, blow on them to dry it and then proceed with the next layer - bare minimum amount on the brush to apply an even stroke and not have it get sticky. If you take it slow it’s worth it! Two very thin layers was a Kelly green that would be good for summer. As we’re in Fall, I wanted a deep green so went for four thin layers and got this emerald shade 💚

I wish you would get more of this in other colors. I only have used it for years. This formulation is the best. I don’t understand why it would be Discontinued

I love this color and it has held up really well to all the work I do with my hands. I’ve received so many compliments on this polish!

The color is deceiving
I have zero complaints about the Essie brand. It’s the best polish I’ve ever used and am 100% loyal to all their collections!With that being said... I’m not a fan of this specific color. It looks waaaay different in the bottle than it does when dry. It turns out to be a very dark pine green. Since it’s the glaze series the color tends to pool sporadically and creates a weird spotted look that I’m just not a fan of.

Horrible quality
the nail polish does not work. It is so watery as if someone literally just put water with color. DO NOT BUY or you will waste your money because it is not returnable!!!

Not even close to the same color
So, this color isn't even CLOSE to the pictures. It's a dark dark green (see pic). The formula is great though. It's definitely a three-coater. Very very sheer on the first coat. I'm sure I'll wear it, but I'm kind of disappointed in the color.

I wanted something fun for St Patrick's day and this was perfect!

too translucent
If this had been opaque I would've loved it, but the translucency became such a problem I was never able to make this look good at all. Great color, bad coverage.
