Adult CCRN Exam Flashcard Study System: CCRN Test Practice Questions & Review for the Critical Care Nurses Certification Examinations (Cards)

It might just be me, but I didn't like the fact that the cards topics were not in any order. I would have preferred them to be organized in topics. If it were in topic/sections, I could separate them out any study them that way. It seemed scrambled and unorganized. I'd like to study a section at a time. Those are a lot of cards to separate and carry around. It would be easier to carry in section/topics. I had to send this back, it's not what I expected. I looked at 1-2 pages and knew this way of studying would not work for me.It might be a good way to study for some, so I gave it 3 stars for that.

I must admit that I was somewhat hesitant about purchasing this product because my thoughts were that I would have to purchase an actual book and use the flashcards as a supplement study. To my surprise, this flash card system is very detailed and complete. I have been most pleased and satisfied with my purchase and product. I love that I can take my study flashcards anywhere I go and I can focus on one system at a time. I have packed my cards in the front of my luggage for easy and quick referrence and I feel that for every free moment I have, I can study at least one or two flashcards. I absolutely love these cards. The cards are "jammed pack" with useful, in depth content.

The product comes as sheets of card stock with perforations for the cards. Overall quality is not what I would expect at this price point. My expectations would be; a single deck of smooth edged cards, heavier card stock with a smooth finish, tabbed spacer cards for each section and a high quality cardboard box to store them in. As for content, I feel the cards are overly wordy but they do the job. I give 2/5 stars for value and 4/5 stars for content for an overall rating of 3/5 stars.

I purchased these flash cards and I agree that they are flimsy, but the content is well worth it. I purchased clear contact paper and used it to cover the flash cards in the biggest sections. Now they are sturdy and I can bring them anywhere and study anytime. They are worth the money.

Good information on the cards but too wordy. Would like to have seen good explanations with out so much detail. Cards are good overall information, not just for studying for the CCRN.

I bought these cards to help me study for the CCRN. I don't like them. I thought they would be question and answer type cards. Each card has a few paragraphs to read on the back of each about a disease or procedure. TOO much info. to absorb. Don't like them!!!!

Ok these are not flash cards. They are cards (after you tear them apart), but "Discuss preventing complications from ventilators" is not a flash. The backs of the ~4x4in cards are completely covered in 10 pt type. I kept them because I ended up using them as kind of a tiny little review textbook. So in that regard, they were OK. But turn it over and it's "Discuss avoiding non-therepeutic communication" that just makes me want to puke.

These cards are just very wordy. They didn't work for me, but not saying they can't work for others.
