My granddaughter loves this wooden puzzle blocks. Once she has mastered it we will give to her younger cousin.

This isn't bad by any means - great quality, however, this is HARD! I bought it for my 3 year old and while I knew he was a little on the young side for it, it hadn't really occurred to me that this design means every piece is actually 6 different pieces, plus then the direction still has to be determined. Even as an adult, this takes me several minutes, so even if my son was a couple years older, I still think this will be very challenging. So just beware of the age you're purchasing this for.

I think I enjoy this toy more than my kid does! I love the concept of there being different images on each side. Helps keep my kid still while I get things done around the house.

Very cute and my great grandson (3yrs old) was very excited about it! HOWEVER, this is not an easy puzzle. Each puzzle has a different color border to help put pieces together but even at that it took 2 adults about 15 minutes to do just one. A 3 year old does not have that kind of attention span or ability to put things in the correct order. He has liked putting the blocks in the little wooden tray but asks for help every time. Then loses interest before anyone of us can figure it out ourselves. I would not buy this for anyone under 6 or 7.

I’m not even joking when I say that this is used over 20 times a day. My son loves all the Melissa and Doug farm animals.

I got this for a "big sister" present for a friend about to have her second kid but, I chose this because I use this regularly as a pediatric Occupational Therapist. So many ways to play with this - make the animal as it's supposed to be, make a silly animal, make a new animal sound to match the silly mixed-up animal, tell a story about the animal you made, build a tower, draw the animal, build it in the box or out, just to name a few ideas... This is a great present for a second-time mom with a new baby since the pieces are big enough to not get lost or be a hazard to a baby and doesn't have so many pieces that clean up is awful.The pictures are bright and the design is simple enough to not be overwhelming and provides room for creativity. Sturdy and cute. A great toy for ages 3 - 5... the kid needs to be able to understand putting together a simple puzzle without cutouts, not get too frustrated that there are 6 options on each side (younger children may find that aspect hard), and can work on visual perception, fine motor, visual-motor, executive functioning, flexibility, and many many other skills! A great toy overall!
