At 6’1”, I would recline into my tub only to discover that my knees rose above the waterline like two forlorn islands in a tepid sea. My shoulders remained exposed to the chill of the outside world. The overflow drain — that small circular tyrant — dictated the terms of my relaxation. I was, quite frankly, oppressed. Enter this device. This unassuming disc of silicone defies convention, gravity, and perhaps destiny itself. With the gentle press of suction cups, it seals the overflow drain and permits those sacred additional inches of water to accumulate. Inches! To the uninitiated, this may seem trivial. To those of us who have lived partially submerged lives, it is everything. For the first time in my adult existence, I achieved full immersion. My shoulders descended beneath the surface. My knees surrendered. My entire frame entered a state of buoyant unity. I half expected a choir to begin singing. The engineering is exquisite in its simplicity: * It adheres firmly, like a loyal companion. * It removes easily, without drama. * It does not leak, protest, or negotiate. It simply does its duty. I have used it since 2020. It has endured steam, soap, contemplation, and what I can only describe as prolonged philosophical soaking sessions. It has not warped, cracked, or betrayed me. Is it glamorous? No. Is it life-changing? Undeniably. This is not merely an accessory. It is a declaration that tall people, too, deserve full aquatic dignity. Five stars. I would give it six, but the overflow drain would not allow it.

I've had this product for over a month, used daily. It is effective at its purpose of preventing water flowing through the overflow drain so that you can enjoy a deeper water level in your bath. It adheres perfectly and quickly, removes easily, and in tactile terms is easy and comfortable to handle. It has no odor and is a very pleasant color; it does not disturb the harmony of my bath/spa/relaxation which is important to me. It is very flexible but not slipshod thin, seems sturdy enough for daily placing and removing without any likelihood of wearing out or tearing. This SlipX Solutions cover seems at least as quality and durable as the one I previously bought, which lasted for several years before I decided to give myself as esthetic upgrade. The size of this cover is more than large enough to cover my drain overflow but not too large to be of use. I imagine it would be a good size for just about every standard household bathtub. Warning: This product does do its job very well, so make sure you monitor your bath while it's filling. It can spill over. You can delay this happening by rotating this drain cover before you place it, putting the drain hole to the side. If the cover part itself is more than large enough for your drain overflow, as it is for mine, you can also place this cover a bit lower. No matter what, I wouldn't start the water and walk away too far. If you've tried a product like this before and like me need to replace yours, I recommend this SlipX Solutions product. If you have never tried a product like this, I recommend it. I'm really glad I did.

This works pretty well, however it’s not quite right for my application. It has multiple suction cups around the outer rim that attach it to the tub. There are also 2 seals, one outer and one inner for double leak protection. Even with both, it will let a little water get by, but no where near enough to disturb your soak. This is best for an overflow that you have solid porcelain that fully surrounds the overflow. I have a clawfoot tub that has the tub fill resting up against the overflow at the top of it. So I can’t get 360 degree seal. Even with that set back, it does its job!

All I can say is game changer for taking a bath, no more hearing the water run out, your able to fully immerse as it allows more water in the tub without risk of overflowing.. great product,

It worked well. I like the colors that resemble natural waters and or match the bathtub drain such as gold , sliver or copper. It definitely adds more water and now i can take a bath that the water covers my shoulders and with Calgon added to my bath water it really does feel like im on a mini vacation.

Works okay. If you have a faucet that is somewhat close to the drain, this wont work! Also, I dont know if it really sticks super well anyway..

Da ich schon lange auf der Suche nach so einem Produkt war, möchte ich gern meine Erfahrungen teilen und die erste Rezension schreiben. Vorweg: bei Amazon sollte unbedingt eine andere Überschrift verwendet werden. So wie sie jetzt lautet, findet es kein Mensch...... ich hatte Glück und hatte es auf Englisch im Amazon.co.uk gefunden und bei .de danach gesucht. z.B. Wannen-Überlauf-Stopper oder sowas... Ausgangssituation, die viele kennen: Man liegt in der Wanne und das laute Geräusch abfließenden Wassers ist NICHT zu überhören. Einige Sekunden später liegen Oberkörper, Knie, etc. frei und werden kalt. Wir konnten uns eine Wanne mit verstecktem Überlauf ("kommunizierende Rohre") nicht leisten (die sind sündhaft teuer). Daher haben wir dann doch eine mit diesem normalen Überlauf genommen, der gleichzeitig durch Drehen die Wanne unten verschließt. Erfahrung mit dem Produkt: Der Innendurchmesser ist ca. 10 bis 10,5cm. Der Außendurchmesser beträgt 15,5cm. An einer Stelle gibt es ein Loch als Überlauf (siehe Foto), der Überlauf ist also nicht komplett verschlossen, sondern weit nach oben verlagert. An der Innenseite gibt es eine umlaufende Lamelle, die das ganze nach Andrücken abdichtet. Die kleinen Saugnäpfe sind ganz vorsichtig anzudrücken, sonst wölben sie sich nach außen und halten nicht mehr richtig. Mit leichtem Andrücken haben sie aber sehr gut gehalten. Ich habe den Überlauf gedreht, damit sich die Wanne unten schließt und Wasser eingelassen. Danach habe ich dieses Überlauf-Dichtungs-Ding aufgesetzt und angedrückt. So schnell ist die Wanne ja nicht voll... Der Wasserspiegel in der Wanne wurde DEUTLICH weiter nach oben verlagert (bei mir waren es mind. 10cm). Ich habe das Silikon-Ding hinterher kontrolliert, innen war NUR Kondenswasser, sonst ist KEIN Wasser aus der Wanne eingedrungen und abgeflossen. Klare Kaufempfehlung für ein so günstiges Produkt mit um die 6 Euro und für jeden, der die kostbaren Zentimeter Wasserspiegel in der Wanne gewinnen will, egal ob er (wie wir) sich keine teure Wanne ohne Überlauf leisten konnte/wollte, oder in einer Mietwohnung wohnt und die Wanne nehmen muss, wie sie ist. Die Wanne bis quasi zum Rand zu füllen, ist damit kein Problem! Ich persönlich finde, es ist ein schlichtes Design und nicht so aufdringlich und klobig, wie das schweizer Pendant in blau (will keine Namen nennen), welches außerdem mind. 7x so teuer ist. Cubre perfectamente el desagüe y sorprendentemente aunque esta la cadenita del tapón se cierra bien. Sirve a su propósito.
