Versatile Case. Really Nice Camera. Reasonable Price
There is a lot I could say good about this purchase, like it is reasonably priced and the camera takes good pictures and works with my old fashioned, python, pi camera code on a Raspberry PI 3B, with Buster OS. It works without config changes anywhere. I wrote the code for the official Raspberry PI Camera V2 as well! Yet, I bought this product for the case alone. I use a few pieces of the case, with the supplied screws, to house the official Raspberry PI Camera V2 in such a way that I can slip it onto the tabs of the Adafruit, Mini Pan Tilt Kit -- see the picture. I simply had to shave a bit of material off the black plastic tabs of the pan-tilt kit so that the slots on this plastic case can fit over them. I put loop of masking tape behind the case to better secure it to the flat of the mini pan tilt kit. I am pleased with this purchase.

It works on Raspberry Pi 3B
Yup, it works on my Pi 3B. Fixture was easy to assemble although no instructions were included. I used the Python Picamera2 library. Auto focus is pretty good.

Alright Setup, Damaged Module, Great customer service
Installing this camera was quite simple, and took maybe 5 minutes max. However, when I opened the anti-static bag it came in, the lens looked as if it had a chip in it, and the plastic lens holder was scratched as well. The instructions referenced a lens protector sticker, but I did not see one in the bag or on the lens. The image quality is alright, however it is a bit fuzzy from the scratch. When I tried to claim warranty with the squarespace warranty, they said it was my fault and wouldn't cover it. If you're on a budget then this is a good camera, but if you have the money I would recommend the official Raspberry Pi camera v2 Edit: Soon after reporting the issue, Arducam reached out and offered to replace my camera. They responded quick, and I just got the replacement yesterday. The image quality is much better, and it is now mounted on my 3D printer for timelapses and remote monitoring! Attached is my most recent timelapse :D My only issue still is there doesn't seem to be a way to focus the lens for closer objects (like the printer fan in my timelapse)

Seamles & easy integration with Octopi
Just what I was hoping! Decent little camera to monitor overall progress on my Ender 3 V2, using octopi. Ease of installation: Worked seamlessly with octopi; plugged it in, restarted the server, and voilá! Camera quality: Initially I thought 5MP fixed focus would be like going back in time to early 2000's webcams, but no, the 1080p @ 30fps is great for overall monitoring, just not suitable as a close up hotend camera.

Good for Basic Projects
This works well with my Raspberry Pi 4. Setting it up was straightforward; I just followed the online instructions. The image quality is decent for the price. I mainly use it for basic computer vision projects, and it gets the job done. But the focus could be sharper. For simple tasks, it's a good value.

Very dim, not good initial picture or setup
Very dim, hard to see. I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong but my camera is very dim and hard to see. I've only just set it up; but, I am not seeing any troubleshooting problems reported online. I'm using OctoPrint with all settings default. My USB webcam had no problems and my room is generally very bright. I swapped over because the USB camera was adding a lot of mass to my printer bed so I wanted to do something different. I'm not sure what is going on here. I will update this again if I am able to get this resolved. But as far as ease of use and initial setup there are probably better options out there. Update 1, using the camera with crowsnest and klipper resulting in a worse image; tough, I am getting a true 1080p image; but, it is under 10 fps.

Came with the ribbon cable it said it didn’t include
The listing says that it does not come with a ribbon cable compatible with a rpi 0/0 2, yet mine included one, (the unpackaged one came with it, 16cm length btw). I was gonna rate it 4 stars for making me buy an extra, but I can’t be mad for including extras, even when not stated.

Extremely Disappointed - False Claims and Poor Build Quality
I recently purchased the Arducam 5MP Camera for Raspberry Pi, hoping to enhance my Raspberry Pi projects with high-definition video capabilities. However, this product fell far short of my expectations, to say the least. First and foremost, the packaging claimed that this camera module was compatible with various Raspberry Pi models, including the Pi 4, Pi 3, and even the A/B series. But boy, was I in for a rude awakening. As soon as I attached the camera to my Raspberry Pi 3, the lens literally fell off. I mean, how can a camera claim to be compatible if it can't even stay intact? To add insult to injury, after I managed to somehow reattach the lens, the camera failed to register with my Raspberry Pi. It simply did not work. I tried troubleshooting, reinstalling drivers, and even tested it on different Pi models, but to no avail. The Arducam camera was nothing more than an expensive paperweight. Furthermore, the build quality is abysmal. It's clear that this camera was not designed to withstand regular use. Given the fragile lens and the lack of durability, it's safe to say that this product was poorly made. I had high hopes for this camera, hoping to capture stunning visuals and create amazing projects. Instead, I received a frustrating experience and wasted my hard-earned money. The Arducam 5MP Camera for Raspberry Pi is simply not worth the hassle, disappointment, or price. Save yourself the trouble and invest in a more reliable camera module for your Raspberry Pi projects. There are plenty of other options out there that won't leave you feeling cheated and unsupported.

Nice Product and Worked as intended

Could have had dual side stickers if screw option isn’t possible at some situations. The cam is beautifully crisp.

This camera module works well with the second generation Raspberry Pi (2B). The quality is decent, even in a low light environment.

Running on Raspberry Pi 3 A+ and Raspbian 10 Buster. Primarily using the camera with Octoprint to monitor 3D printing progress. Installs easily - ribbon cable is a bit short, but I've mounted the camera and the Rpi together on an arm to the printer. Image is a bit soft regardless of focal distance - everything isn't super sharp regardless of distance to the lens. So don't expect being able to read license plates or words with this camera. For my application of monitoring 3D prints, it serves its purpose. All in all pretty satisfied. A little more expensive that other 3rd party camera modules, but the Arducam came packaged nicely in a small box, sealed in an anti-static bag, and worked on the first pass.

I bought this for use with raspberry pi/octoprint. It worked for about a day then died. Tried it in multiple other Pi's, but it just doesn't show up as a video device anymore. I should have written a review immediately but totally forgot. Been running fine with a standard USB cam ever since.
