Elasto Gel Hot/Cold Wrap,foot and Ankle Wrap

This is the most effective genuis way to ice an ankle. Unfortunately I have had several fractures and using ice had always been uncomfortable. Its either too hard, doesn't fit or conform to the affected area right, fall off the area, leaks, pinholes somehow sometimes are on the outside, strings that come loose or it falls after tied, too big, too small, or takes up too much space in the freezer. So many different types of ice packs that just dont work for me. This one is perfect. It freezes quickly so you can use it several times throughout the day. Takes very little freezer space because it lays flat. VERY soft, great fit for any size foot, long enough strap to wrap around, freezes quick, lasts 30+ min for me, cold enough to feel & do the job but not freeze your foot where you want to remove it earlier than what you need. Fits well above your ankle as well You can even use it on your elbow if you get creative with the strap. It feels so good and is very comfortable you can move around the couch or wherever you are sitting, laying, the strap holds great. You can put it in the microwave as well if you need a heat instead of ice. Be sure to keep it in the plastic bag it comes in when you freeze it. Its a sturdy plastic ziploc type of bag. I will be getting another one for my other foot.

I should have bought this forever ago!! I have a back gel pad from this same company and it is awesome! I have had foot issues for a long time and I would just wrap the back pad around my foot and tie a strap around it. It worked fine, but the back pad doesn’t bend as well. I recently had foot surgery and it is going to be a while before my foot isn’t sore and swollen. I need to ice it every night. I finally broke down and bought this ice pack and it is the BEST thing ever. I wish I would have been using this sooner! Depending how you strap it on, it does your whole foot or more of your ankle. It feels amazing, the gel stays soft and the pack almost cushions the foot. It’s like a cold little piece of relief at the end of the day! It comes with a thick plastic bag to store it in the freezer so it doesn’t absorb moisture! Just buy it!

Really works well. Cooled to the max in about 4 hrs. keep it in the freezer now always. Gell doesn't get hard.

I can't believe I've been using a square cold pack all these years like a sucker. Martha Steward was right (this time), always have the right tool for the job. This ankle wrap is perfect; I damaged my Achilles' tendon the other day and I wish I would have gotten this right away instead of thinking that my cold pack was adequate. This is made for the foot for heaven's sake. The picture shows a guy with a bare foot but it's much too cold to use without a sock. I almost want to say that it's colder than ice. The directions say to freeze for a minimum of two hours which is just fine. I let it freeze for two hours the first time I used it and it lasted about 30 minutes. I let it freeze overnight the next time and it lasted 35 minutes. This is perfect because "they" always say to ice the foot for only 20-30 minutes and then let the muscle thaw down before applying cold again. If you have a foot injury don't hesitate to purchase. It fits right on your foot, the straps hold it in place, and you can do your RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) just fine without a square, rigid, ice pack slipping everywhere. I really wish I would have had this from the beginning -- as soon as I started using it my foot started to get better (along with KT Tape).

I dislocated and broke my ankle. After surgery and during physical therapy I had a LOT of swelling I had to combat. THIS DID THE TRICK! And it did it well. I wear a size 13 men’s shoe. While I wish it was a bit longer in the foot direction (it’s not too bad, but could be better), I found early on that I could turn it around and get the length I needed for my swollen foot while still having enough to cover my swollen ankle. It easily stayed very cold for 35-45 min. And when I say cold, I mean cold... like the icing machine cold from physical therapy... so wear a crew sock before putting it on. It takes about 2 hrs to reach max coolness. Ultimately, I recommend it. It’s way better than the ice and ice packs and frozen peas and everything else is been trying. If you have ankle or foot swelling, this should help alleviate some of that. It’s really quite comfortable too. The Velcro wrap is a little tricky to get the hang of at first... but not so hard as to ruin your day. I never heated it, so I can’t speak to that.

I love the coolers with wraps, that you come home with from the hospital post-surgery, but those have a right and wrong way, and those also require filling ice. And sometime you just want something simple. This is one I can freeze and take with me places, whereas the cooler setup requires electricity. This suits its purpose well. ✔️ STAYS COLD - I wear it my 20 minutes and put it back in the freezer and it quickly returns to the appropriate colonies to re-use within 30 minutes ✔️ CAN BE HEATED IN MICROWAVE OR OVEN - I have never used it for heat myself, so I can't speak to its effectiveness there. Instructions do say it can be heated using a conventional oven on a specified lower temperature. I purchased one for my mom, and she does use it hot and says it works just as well hot as it does cold. ✔️ VERSATILE AND EASILY PORTABLE. ✔️ VERY SOFT AND COMFORTABLE. ✔️ GEL IS A SOLID SHEET, AND ALTOUGH IT IS NOT MADE FOR WALKING, IT WON'T POP EITHER. 🌐 Overall, I couldn't be more pleased. Bought mine 8+ years ago and it is still basically brand new. No damage to the gel, straps or fabric. I love it. When my ankle injury flares up and swells I start with it frozen, leave it on for 20+ minutes then heat it up in the microwave and then just leave it on for however long I want. Sometimes I reheat because it just feels good on it. The fit is great for any size I would say. Do not walk on it, it's like walking on a soapy floor. It is plyable when frozen,not stiff. I do usually have to flip it around in the microwave to get it evenly heated. This has passed the test of time. I use it a couple times a month and sometimes more. Great relief for the swelling and pain. Great value for how long it has lasted. Easy to hand wash and hang dry.

This is a very cold gel ice pack. I actually have been using it on my knee and it works good.

We call it my ice boot, and I wear it while watching the news every night after exercising (I have osteoarthritis in my ankles). I haven't tried it hot- I use a hot water bottle for that, especially when I do 10 minutes hot, 10 minutes cold as recommended by the physio.

Speedy delivery... thank you! Have not used it as a "cold therapy". Certainly does the trick although I did find it a little awkward to fit. Has most definitely helped my peroneal tendonitis.

Ive had foot injury for 7 months straight away I felt the benefits would highly recommend
