Dose anyone know how this will hold up for an everyday work belt in construction?

I'm a big guy and I chew thru belts my whole life. This is by far the best belt I've ever owned. I've had mine about 6 months or so and it's like brand new still. Thick heavy duty real one piece rawhide leather. Beautifully made with a very high quality roller buckle which can easily be swapped out if needed. Best belt ever imo. This will most likely last me the rest of my life, 30 years hopefully.

How is the roller made? I have a real nice belt - the roller is not made from a rolled piece; is one piece (no seam)?

The action is smooth and the buckle is still of high quality as is the belt. Are these belts “full grain” leather?

Absolutely! Thank you for asking this excellent question. All of our Forest Hill Leather belts are made from high-quality Full Grain solid Leather. Each belt will reflect the unique natural leather grain and will burnish and beautify with age. As opposed to "name brand" box store belts that are laminated and imported, ours are the real deal and made in the USA.

Is this Wickett & Craig leather?

Hi J. Owen, thanks for the great question! Many of the belts that we offer are in fact Wickett & Craig leather. Even within this two-prong category, most of the colors come from the Wickett and Craig tannery. But this particular color, the distressed brown is not. However, our positive experience of the quality of this distressed brown leather over the years is comparable to W&C and holds up very well. It's one of our most sought after styles.

Great Belt But I could have bought a bigger size.

I really love the quality. Just what I was looking for. But I may need to get it a bit longer because I like my belts a bit long.

Was impressed at first but this belt hardly made it mast 18 months

Received this belt today so this review based on first impressions only. Quickly delivered. Thick quality leather. Crafting is excellent. Looks precisely as pictured. Bought 36 waist size and wear 34-36 pants. Belt is a precise fit. It is shorter than your typical 36” department store belt with excess beyond first hole. This belt will help you lay off the extra helping of potatoes and gravy. There is not a lot of room to grow. If you’re used to wearing your belt a little long I would recommend 1 size bigger. However I would say that this belt being true to size is classy. The buckle is solid brass and well made. I would say that my money was well spent at double what I would spend on average for a mass produced product. This company has a good reputation for quality and I look forward to getting my 100 years out of this one. Update- got about 18 months out of this belt before it STB. No clear way on how to get it replaced under warranty and honestly, I don’t care to. Writing off as another oops I fell for that Amish superhero story. Found a belt maker since that does it right and I’ve moved on, if you’re reading this, you should too
