The smallest punches WILL bend if used inappropriately. They are made of BRASS, not steel.
Great non marring punch set. Don't expect the durability of steel. If you understand the nature of brass you will get a high quality, well and punch set that will not fail unless you use it for something it was not designed to be.

Good value
Used them once on my homesteader, nice size variety. Punched out some roll pins. No marring, works as expected.

Great for basic gunsmithing
Received this punch set to work on firearms. I specialize in Curio Relics. Some of the firearms I handle are 70+ years of age. Much of the exterior nomenclature has never been removed. Front iron sights are especially tough. I was trying to remove the front iron sight from a WWII Rifle. I had the right sizes to do the job. 2 out of 3 bent.As for as the manufacturer their product is fine. I will have to find punches that are nearer industrial grade that are tailored to what I do. Keep in mind when you purchase for smithing these punches are more likely suited to modern firearms and work within what the product is produced for.

Well made and work well for installing gun soghts
Bunches are well-made and you have to remember that brass is soft and if you use too small of a punch on something that is too tight, you will mushroom it and maybe break it. Removing the sights on my Equalizer was difficult And I had to use a much larger punch than I expected, as I really had to hit it hard. Tried it with a smaller diameter punch, and it started to mushroom and flatten the tip. Upon installation of the new site, I could use a smaller punch. The brass that was left on the slide easily wiped off when I was finished. I recommend these for working on firearms.

Smaller than expected, however will work when needed.

Decent for the price
I regularly work on rifles, and the brass pins are well-polished and don't mar the finish of the guns when inserting into the pin holes. The pins are sturdy enough to act as retainers even with tension on the springs, and are sized well enough. The only way it could be improved is if the tips of one of the pin sets were concave contoured; these punches are not well-suited to removing rounded-top pins. However, as a basic punch pin set, you can't beat this one for the price.EDIT:Removed 1 star for the brass pins that bent under normal working conditions, and another for an incorrectly-sized 3/32" punch. The brass is flimsy, the pins themselves are fairly short, and the sizing isn't exactly perfect. For a basic pin set, it's great for the price... precision work will probably require some higher standards.
