Works well for acrylic
To cut acrylic, the normal recommendation is to use a high-toothed blade. But when we had to do some serious cutting of acrylic for my triangular windows, my handyman did some testing, and the Evolution blade actually produced the cleanest cuts of all three blades we tried, including a high-toothed one.It maybe interesting to mention that we did not expect this. I found the Evolution blade first on the web page of a local big-box store when I was looking for an affordable blade to cut *harder metals*, and got it from that store. But since we will have to do quite a few four-feet-plus acrylic-mirror cuts, and we used the old blade quite a lot to cut metals (mostly aluminum alloys), I thought it might be a good idea to get a new blade. So I looked around for it and found it on Amazon. It would be nice if there was a twelve inch version. The ten inch is good for my handyman's table saw, but my miter saw would prefer a twelve inch.

Blades cut steel
Amazing to see this saw just cut though steel. Its amazing but you may want to save the old blades as you use them and organize for the quality cuts. There burn out fast and if you need to cut rebar you may want to use an old blade and save the new blades for the cleaner cuts.

Good blades
These are good blades. I cut mostly mild steel and galvanized pipes. They last a long time. Just make sure your cut item is secure. If it moves or kicks it will break teeth. Not for hard steels.

Good clean cut
I had my doubts given the price, but decided to give this a shot. It makes reasonably clean cuts and only has about a .084 kerf. I asked and the seller said .078, which is smaller, and one user said he usually figures 1/8", which is larger. I am happy with .084, as it's noticably narrower than 1/8" which is usually what I see with a blade like this.Time will tell if this lasts, I will change this review if I have further comments.

does not last
I've bought 2 of these blades. On the first one I thought perhaps I cut steel that was too thick and ruined the blade. so I bought a 2nd blade and only cut steel 1/8 inch thick or less. both blades only lasted for 10-12 cuts before throwing the carbide tips, so the blades are junk, cannot even cut wood without burning. When I buy abrasive blades for my chop saw the blades come in a 5 pack, I get between 6mo to a year out of each blade, when I spend $30 bucks on an evolution blade for my evolution saw, I only get a couple of weeks 10-12 cuts, so this blade is not a good value, so far $60+ for 2 blades, if I purchased abrasive blades for the same amount they would have lasted me a lifetime.
