Great product.
My father in law had stage 4 Alzheimer’s, and we attached it to his belt, and geofenced the back yard which was big, and if he went out the gate when we wierent looking it alerted our phone immediately, we never lost him again. But to be fair we only lost him once before Thi. That’s why we bought it, to make sure it never happened again. Worked great as advertised, easy to set up too.

⭐ Reseña del Tracki GPS 4G
This GPS tracker is simply excellent. It's very small, lightweight, and easy to conceal, making it perfect for tracking cars, backpacks, children, pets, or any important object. The real-time location tracking is very accurate and can be viewed directly from your phone, which provides immense peace of mind. The app is easy to use and allows you to view routes, set up safe zones, and receive instant alerts. Plus, the battery lasts a long time, and the device feels sturdy and well-made. It's undoubtedly a very useful tool for security and monitoring. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their belongings or loved ones safe and secure. 🔒📍✨

Great device, app, and customer support
We initially got a GPS tracking device to be able to track our special needs son in the event he would go missing. We pin it to his pocket when he goes to school, when we are out and about on the weekends, and when we go out of town or on vacation. Our biggest fear is that one day he will go missing and he won't be able to communicate to someone who he is, where he lives, what the home number is, etc. With this device and the phone app, we have piece of mind that if he ever goes missing, we will be able to find where he is at. We love the comfort of knowing where he is at that we go one for our other child who is not special needs, just in case. We used to have another GPS tracking device that we used for a number of years, but that (as many of the older GPS tracking devices do) worked on the G2 network which is slowly being phased out. Over the last few years we've seen a lot of the functionality on that other GPS tracker go away. The thought of not being able to track our son was heartbreaking for us and finding a replacement GPS tracker was difficult to do because they all were using the 2G network. We finally found this Tracki device and per the specs it runs on the 3G network. I was so excited when we found this we immediately ordered a set of them. I will have to say I was skeptic at first because it seemed like such a new product (we ordered ours in August and all the reviews we were able to find anywhere were only from a few months ago) but we figured we had nothing to loose, if we weren't happy, we could cancel service. I will have to say that this device and the company have far exceeded my expectations and my experience with other devices. The price of the device is extremely reasonable. The plans are great. Right now, since we've been trying it out we went with the month to month plan, but at some point we will switch to one of their yearly plans, which will save us money. The app is still relatively new. It was released in March 2019 and they are at version 2.3. I can say that it has greatly improved and they are constantly making improvements and releasing updates. The app will get a notification for any of the triggers you setup (such as enter or leave a zone you define). If you want other people to get notified of activities, they don't need to have the app, you can setup the app to send text messages to specific mobile numbers and you can also set it up to send e-mail to specific e-mail address. It will show you the batter life that remains for the device, and you can set it to notify you if the device hits a percent battery life so that you know it's time to recharge the battery. The batter life is great, we go a few days without having to charge it. You can set it up to refresh location every 1, 2, 5, 10, 30 minutes or even 1, 2, or 4 hours. The app will even let you "ping" the device so that it will beep. We've used this option a few times when the kids didn't remember exactly where in the house they put their device. This is a great feature!! It will also let you see past history of the device movement, this might come in handy at some point if anyone goes missing. The device has some nice features as well. It has a power button so you can turn the device off at night. Other's don't have this. We power them down when the kids come home, that saves batter life. It has 3 buttons, one is an SOS button in case your child runs into problems, it will notify the app on the phone and let you know the SOS button was pressed. It has 2 other buttons as well that you can use for whatever you want to be notified for. It comes with a clip that you can put on, so a child can clip it to their pants. It has a little ring loop that you can put a key ring on. We put a small cable tie with a safety pin so that we could pin it to our sons pockets to make it harder to take off. You may see comments that say that the device is not accurate. I will say, based on experience on trying several GPS tracking devices, they are all like that. It might not update the second you look at the app, but it will update, just give it time. I've called customer support twice for help on two different items, and they were VERY accommodating and EXTREMELY helpful. In the "Help - Contact Support" section of the app, it has a button to "Call Support", so they make it easy to get a hold of them when you need to.

I am moving house, across country and bought these to track the movement of my vehicle and belongings which are being shipped - separately. The instructions clearly state to charge the battery for 12 hours until the blinking light, stops blinking and is constant. I charged the battery for 24 hours and the light had stopped blinking. I was delighted to see how accurate the device was sitting in my home, it placed the device perfectly. I set the device to send a signal ever 4 hours, this according to the instructions should have given me close to 30 days of tracking. I put the device in my car and drove it 20 miles to the vehicle carrier depot. Checked the app, and it still showed it back in my house, I wasn't concerned because it hadn't yet been 4 hours. Later that night it was still showing it at my house and I knew something was wrong. The next morning I call Tracki and asked what could be wrong. The person who answered the phone was pleasant and logged in to my device and told me 1) the device was set to wifi, not GPS and this is why it showed in my home where it had been set up - THERE IS NOTHING ANYWHERE IN THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT MENTIONS WIFI, OR ENSURING THAT IT IS SET TO GPS. I was told that they could reset it remotely but that I might have to power down the device and restart it. PROBLEM WAS THAT MY DEVICE WAS SOMEWHERE ELSE NOW, where I didn't know because Tracki wasn't tracking. 2) THE BATTERY IS NOW 31% - this is 24 hours, not 24 days after I had activated the device. Even if it was working it wouldn't last 2 days. That device is lost my only hope of seeing it again is if my car makes it to its destination. If and when it does is now anyone's guess. Thank you Tracki. The other 2 devices that I planned to place along with my belongings to be taken by the movers I am returning. Everything that is stated on Amazon about the battery life is a fallacy. The instructions are so incomplete that it renders the device useless. Buy at your own risk. One last thing, the person who answered my call at Tracki told me that their supervisor would call me back later when they arrived at the office. I'm still waiting. Thanks again Tracki.

Nice device. Good support.
I didn't really get a chance to use this device much. I was going to use it to track our ducks, but getting our big Rouen drake to wear the thing is a bit traumatic on both of us. Haha. I should mention that I was asked to write a review by Vanna, a customer support representative, who helped me with the cancellation of my GPS tracking subscription. To her credit, she didn't ask for a "favorable" review and didn't guilt me about dropping the subscription. The review wasn't a precondition for anything. She put a lifetime warranty on the device because I purchased it through Amazon. All she needed was the order number, and she can do that for anyone, I think. Pros: Very easy to set up. It's a nice, solid little device, not overly large or heavy. It tracks fairly accurately (as well as any GPS device), and integrates well with location data from smartphones. (Every smartphone number needs a different account, but only one account has to have the tracking subscription.) Cons: I had hoped the device would be more waterproof. The circuitry itself is quite watertight, I think, but the battery compartment is not. It doesn't even try to be (no rubber seals, etc.) It does come with a silicone rubber cover that is supposed to waterproof it, but I don't know how good a job it would do. Perhaps with silicone grease inside??? I live in a marine environment, so I can't afford any water leakage at all. That's why I tied the thing up inside a rubber balloon. The clip for attaching the thing to a dog collar is attached with a tiny screw and is incompatible with the silicone rubber sleeve. Honestly, I wouldn't trust it, although the warranty would cover me in the event the thing fell off. The clip is absolutely a no-go with a duck! So my approach was to make a holder for it with an Ace bandage, fastened loosely around the duck's neck. Francis didn't like it at all! A more people-friendly duck might be more cooperative. Other cons: The LED indicators are a bit confusing without the instructions in your hand, but ON/OFF is easy enough. The beep is rather soft, so you might not hear it in a noisy environment or if you're too far away. Why I took a star off: I think the waterproof claims are a bit questionable. The silicone rubber encasement might repel splashes, but I doubt it would keep the battery compartment dry if your device took a dunk. Again, I suggest a rubber balloon, tied in a knot - or even a ziploc bag if you can afford the bulk. Overall, good device and good company. It's probably the best way to track anything that might not be in range of another smartphone but might be in range of a cell tower. If Francis were a better sport, I would be using it right now to track him and his little companions as they got into their daily mischief. :-)

Best tracker and service I could find to keep track of my dog
I have used trackers for my dogs over the past 15 years. I started with the first trackers for hunting dogs that Garmin put on the market before the era of cell phones. They were built to last a thousand years and were using the same GPS satellite signal but connected to base over short-range radio frequencies. And they were very expensive. When similar devices started to appear with world-wide cellular connections, I researched every new one and tested a few. After my Garmin experience, they all fell short in one way or another. Until Tracki came along. I have used it now for close to nine months. UPDATED IN FEB 2024: I've now used it for almost 4 years. It always works. It is very easy to set up and use. It shows its location on half a dozen different backgrounds—street map, bird’s eye view of the terrain (where I can actually see my truck in my driveway), and combinations of streets and terrain photography. These maps do not have to be purchased (unlike Garmin’s), they are just there. I can adjust the location update frequency from one minute up to hours (if I want the battery to last for weeks, for example). With one update every minute, the battery lasts for several days (I had to charge Garmin’s Astro every night). The accuracy is within a few yards. The unit is very light and very small. My current dog is large, but this Tracki unit will fit fine even on a cat’s collar. Unlike Garmin’s Astro, this system stores maps of many days in the past, so I can review my dog’s walks from weeks back. By default, you see only the current location, but with a frw mouseclicks on the computer, or taps on a tablet or phone, I can see the entire route, with points spaced at one-minute Intervals. For other uses, the device has an unexpected feature: three buttons that send back signals, a different one for each button, so if my dog could push a button, I would immediately get an email that days “left button pressed on Sasha’s Tracki.” Wow. One wish for the future enhancements: the beep that the unit produces when I push a button on my phone or computer should have adjustable volume. Right now, it is too quiet. I lost my first Tracki on a lawn covered with leaves, and although I knew, within a few yards, where it was, I could nit find it, and the beep was to soft to hear out in the open. I had to buy a new unit from Amazon, and called the Tracki 24/7 support to ask if I could replace the lost unit without losing any settings. The support service is first rate. First I talked to a woman whose name I do not remember, and she walked me through the steps. Then I talked to a man named Liam who set me up with a lifetime warranty that will replace my unit if I ever lose or break it. For free. These units are very affordable, but I still feel lucky and appreciated. The cell service is only ten bucks a month. I forgot to say that if this unit is close enough to your wifi or bluetooth connection, it will use those to communicate with you instead of the cellular. This saves battery life, I think. Updated 2 years later. Still in love with the device, use it on my dog every day, And after the 3G cell connection started feeling outdated, what with the 5G on my phone and all, I called Tracki, immediately got a real live person named Kay, who replaced my 3G version of the unit with a 4G replacement, free of charge. UPDATED FEB 2024: my device broke and was replaced for free. Later, it stopped working and was replaced at minimal cost. My subscription was intact and a month was added fre of charge. This is an excellent tracker with support.

Like most women and some men in the world today I too had suspicions of infidelity in my relationship. This tracker was purchased in hopes of clearing up a lot of lies and honestly I was hoping it would be my ticket out of a toxic relationship that was way past it’s expiration date but due to my partner’s selfishness and unwillingness to tell the truth I needed this device to help catch him red handed. So while that explains the “why” for my purchase. Let me review the actual details on the product. I purchased it before leaving to go on a trip out of town with my mom. We picked the package up from the mailroom in my building on the day we were set to leave Monday 7/19. I set it up and paid for the 6 month subscription $99. It was easy to do and had little no problems getting it going. Once I set it up I set the tracking mode to battery save mode because my trip was until Friday 7/23. I found a spot on his vehicle and everything was set up golden before I left. I set it to update his location only every 2 hours with no real time GPS tracking to ensure the battery didn’t die while I was away. The battery lasted the entire trip. I retrieved the device from his car with a low battery alert on 7/28. So it was a solid 6 days after my trip before the low battery alert. In total 10 days. It was only 2 less days than the device described it would last but no mobile device with a portable rechargeable battery ever last that long so I can’t complain. It is deceiving because the app tells you that in that mode you should be able to get 12-15 days I think. Don’t quote me I could be wrong. But anyway. It lasted just long enough for me to retrieve it recharge it and put back in place. This time I changed the settings to real time GPS because I was back home and could retrieve it more often for charging. It’s holding now at 64 percent from 2 days ago 7/28 100 percent. The battery is like most cell phones. With constant pinging to towers and gps usage the battery is bound to drain. I’m just happy now to have a tool that can help me with my biggest issue right now. Thank you Tracki!!! Also received a call from Tracki representative regarding my lifetime warranty. I was skeptical at first because of fraud/scams being so prevalent but she didn’t raise any red flags. She only asked for my Amazon order ID# and asked about my review. Hence the reason why I wrote this review. Lol. All is well. And if I ever need to put on my investigative hat again this will be my first stop. Hopefully not though 🙄 Update!! Well as mentioned before I got a call from their customer service. Every since that call my tracker hasn’t worked properly. It decides when it wants to stop working and when it wants to work. I contacted them about this issue and even pointed out that none of my indicator lights were working so I didn’t know when I was powering It on or off. They were no help. Didn’t offer to replace it because he said it worked on their end and that they could see it tracking. So the lifetime warranty is non existent. I have an obvious defective device and I’m stuck with it. I’m probably canceling my subscription soon.

Customer support very helpful and very willing to workout any issues
I have been using GPS trackers in my line of work for over 15 years and wanted to try this to see if it would work for me. After allowing the device to track for 24 hours I attempted to review the data the following day. VERY confusing software with a lot of glitches. It appears to be OpenMaps and the detail/quality is very poor. Nothing near Google Quality. After struggling with it for over two hours I was finally able to piece a chronological history together. Lots of reporting is missing from the map that is reported in the downloadable CVS. There are a few ways to review the stored data on their interface but no consistency with certain functions/features. Sometimes you can rest or click on a map pin and get the detailed time and GPS coordinates. Sometimes you can't. The times you can't, it is very troublesome. If you speed up the playback of a bread crumb trail in the history report, you can't slow it down afterward. If the device/vehicle stops, it will not begin tracking again until it's scheduled to, not when when it actually starts to move again. This can create a gap depending on how often you set your ping rate. I only see a benefit if you do real-time (1-minute pinging) tracking but there doesn't appear to be a bread crumb trail on the app map. Only the pins. Difficult to determine if the target is moving or stopped with only a pin in the map. This is a little confusing when you start trying to follow activity as it unfolds. Other software I've used shows a pin for stopped and an directional arrow if moving. The battery may not last as long as it could in real-time mode. I did purchase the extended battery and box and will later try to just let it run as a means to determine if my target is leaving the city or state when they are not supposed to. One other weird thing. You are only allowed up to 30 alerts to be sent to you via either email or text messaging. If your target starts and stops a lot, this can be a problem. Not sure what happens after 30 alerts is reached. I suspect you don't get anymore alerts. Or maybe you have to pay extra for them. Not a bad device overall for the price. If you buy one, don't go into it with great expectation. There are many more user friendly devices available for a little more cost. I 'm not sure if I'll buy a second one and just expect it to be disposable. Update: Jan 2022 Even though I have continued to use these devices. I am still struggling with the app and the web user interface when I need to review historical data. I have spoken with their customer support people and that is the one great thing. Very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. They appear to be interested in my feedback. I plan to work with them and hopefully work out some of the bugs with the mapping. Will update again later. Update: Mar 2022 I have began to notice the support team is passing on my concerns. I've noticed some of the glitches are being corrected. I feel this is promising. If I can just get them to change the green bread crumb trail in the desk top user app. It is VERY hard to see a green path/line on the earth view map. It needs to be a contrast color. All things considered, if you need an affordable GPS solution, these devices are definitely worth looking into. Update: Feb 2023 I had decide to continue using these devices since my original purchase over two years, in spite of the continued glitches I've experienced with the mapping app and user interface, they seem to be trying to improve the service. When the devices are working properly they are fantastic. Great form factor, very compact and discreet. Battery life is great, especially with the extended battery packs that I later purchased. When They are not working properly, customer service is excellent. They always seen to be very eager to get me back up and running. And when my 3G device began malfunctioning, "Clare" was very helpful with swapping it for an updated 4G.
