Very large bowl for batch processing. Good quality stainless steel.
This stainless steel mixing bowl is exactly what I was looking for. I have a 13qt stainless steel mixing bowl that I had been using for preparing homemade organic/gluten free breakfast sausage. To give you an idea of the amount in the recipe: 3-1/2 lbs ground meat, 16 lbs apples diced, about 24 oz bread crumbs, about 16 oz of my own dry spice mixture and about a cup of avocado oil. I was struggling to get it properly mixed in the 13qt bowl because it filled it right to the top. This 20qt version is just what I needed - you can see that there is sufficient space to mix everything without it falling out over the edge. The stainless steel is excellent quality and it's not too heavy when empty. It is huge and one must be creative when finding storage. I showed photo in dishwasher just to show that it fits; although I did wash by hand. Notice the sticker is on the bottom and not inside the bowl. Highly recommended for big batch processing!!

Great bowl
Great bowl. Comfortable to use and hold, easy to wash. For bread makers, a shower cap fits nicely over it in place of plastic wrap. My only complaint is the bottom flexes sometimes when I'm mixing vigorously by hand, which speaks to its material being on the thinner side. However, that does mean it's lightweight and inexpensive. For the price and ease of use and cleaning, I still give it 5 stars and would buy again.

high quality and a great value
This bowl is much nicer than I expected. I own some smaller restaurant quality mixing bowls and I while I initially wanted to get a 30qt version of those I decided to try this one first since it’s a fifth the price. I’m glad I did because the quality is nearly as good. It’s much sturdier than I thought it would be. It’s heavy but not overly so and the bottom is true flat, it doesn’t pop or spin on the countertop. The size is great. We’re a family of ten and I can make batches of meals in this bowl that are large enough to freeze as 5-7 complete meals for all of us. I make things like fried rice, pasta bakes, chicken pot pies, stir fry, and casseroles with plenty of room to mix everything without worrying if I’m overfilling the bowl and will make a mess. It’s also nice for bread baking. I like to use my stand mixer to knead dough so I can bake a bunch of bread to freeze. This big mixing bowl means I can have them all rise in the same bowl while waiting to be baked and not dirty all my other mixing bowls. The one thing I don’t like about it is that it’s difficult to wash. I usually hold it upright and use the sprayer to clean it out then scrub it with it flat on the counter followed by a rinse.

we use it weekly.
this bowl does so much. I would never give it up. imagine 7 kids eating popcorn out of it while watching their weekend family movie. we made 2 gallons of pico salsa in it this week. the hardest part was drilling a perfect sized nail hole in the lip to hang it in the pantry. It's HUGE. :)

It does the job.
This is a really good bowl. Very sturdy and maintains is shape. I’ve read some review for other bowls where complain about their bowls warping. This has no flex and is very solid but not heavy. It’s been about a few weeks of use and so far no signs of rust. You’re going to see scratches being that the inner part is polished and if you use metal on metal...it scratches. So I find it odd when people complain about that in general. I don’t know how that will impact durability over time, if at all. 8qt is really wide but that’s because it didn’t know what to expect size wise. It is a flatter bowl but the pictures clearly show that and it’s what I wanted. So overall, very satisfied with it and have no major complains. Planning on buying the smaller sizes.

Huge!
Wow...... this thing is gargantuan 😲. If people are winning about it ignore them... they’re probably having a bad day. I’ll probably have to store this under my bed it’s so freaking big! The one picture is with my almost 6 year old. I wanted a big bowl to rise bread dough in because I do 4 loaves at a time. This will definitely fit any amount of dough that I’ll need! Very happy with with this purchase! 🤗.Update several years later 🤣: so my opinion now on them is they're a bit thin but for the price I think they're good quality. I have 2, 20 qt and 16 qt bowls from this same company because I wanted to make sure they were similar in shape so I could stack them easily. Honestly I prefer the 16 qt because it's still very large and can probably fit 2 home grown chickens (so large chickens) in it. Although I can fit the 16 qt in my sink whereas I can't the 20 qt. Hope that helps! I like giving these as wedding gifts because it's unique and there's always a need for a huge bowl at some point!

Small
I read the description I expected it to be bigger than a cereal bowl. It was tiny. Not worth the money. It also dents in very easy

I wanted something to use for a feeder that she could lick clean and not waste any of this pricey resource
I probably have one of the most unorthodox uses for these bowls in the history of Amazon, but if you are a fellow animal-lover and have horses - read on. One of my horses has to have an expensive nutritional supplement added to her feed every day. I was constantly frustrated as I would find portions of these powdered vitamins ground down into the corners, grooves, and crevices of her feed tub. As a result, I wanted something to use for a feeder that she could lick clean and not waste any of this pricey resource. When I purchased this bowl, I was worried it wouldn't be durable enough for use by a 1400 pound horse, but it has been! After months of use it is still without any major dents, dings, or jagged edges and has held its shine as well. It comfortably holds eight quarts of hot water for a bran mash along with five quarts of feed, and still leaves room for my mare to dig down into the mash without slopping it over the side of the bowl. If you need something strong, durable, easy to clean, and slick as glass; this bowl is for you!
