Are these boots waterproof

I'm from Chitown, and I've always worn Harley Boots even with my suits trudging through the snow, and NEVER had a problem. Just make sure to wipe down your boots when salt is spread in winter regions, during rain, you'll be fine, too However, I highly recommend to use a great saddle soap to clean. My Dad (God Bless HIm) made me shine his boots and workboots everyday since 8 years old, and he never had a problem nor do I. Get a good saddle soap, brush, and use elbow grease. Not only is it exercise for our lady arms, it's USA pride. When you see results, you will be astonished. If those are lazy, take them to a place, and beware, there are thieves out there, so I suggest when you order a quality product, use your elbow grease and make them shine on you own!

Are the soles on these shoes slip resistant?

Good, well-treated soles. I am a passenger so if you are asking about slip-resistant as the operator of the bike, I cannot answer. Very comfortable boots though.

Can i remove that dumb emblem on the front? it looks like it would catch on all kinds of things+ i don't need to advertise for harley davidson do i?

I hadnt thought to try... but i will now. That is the only part of the boot i am "ehh" about. It doesn't catch on things for me but i don't love advertisements on my feet (eyeroll). I honestly love everything else about these boots, though - so when the day comes to buy another pair i def will. So far they are holding up great, though - so idk when that will be :)
