Best squeegee for keeping glass showers clean. Easy to use and works extremely well. Simple Human products are the best.

My husband and I just moved into a newly built home last month, and we have wound up purchasing several Simplehuman products (see also my reviews for simplehuman Steel Frame Dishrack with Wine Glass Holder and simplehuman Rectangular Step Trash Can ). When I realized that my new glass shower door was becoming streaked with water spots, I again turned to Simplehuman. I was attracted to this particular squeegee for two reasons (other than the Simplehuman name brand). One, the stainless zinc finish matches the brushed nickel finises of our other bathroom hardware, including our shower door itself. Two, I loved the fact that this squeegee folded, enabling it to be inconspicuously tucked out of the way in a corner of the shower; most of the other squeegees I considered (including the one by Oxo, another brand I usually like), were large and bulky. Although I also liked that this squeegee came with a suction cup for hanging, I suspected that I might not be able to use it, and I was right about that. The suction cup does work--IF you stick it to a PERFECTLY FLAT surface. Unfortunately, no tile surface is perfectly flat, and although the suction cup DID appear to stick at first, it slowly lost its grip. For me, this is not at issue, as it is just as easy to fold the squeegee in half and leave it on the built-in bench of our shower. In this sense, the squeegee is perfect: when open, it has an excellent span and does a very good job of clearing my glass shower door of water, soap scum, and other debris. When closed, it is not at all unattractive, and even better, it is barely noticeable. As long as you are not counting on the suction cup, I would definitely recommend this squeegee for shower use.

Just ordered and received this squeegee. I like the finish, performance, and that it folds. It's very effective at removing the excess water from my shower door without leaving any streaks. Good value, and feels like it will outlast it's 5-year warranty.

I don't know what I'm going to do if this squeege isn't going to be produced anymore. The biggest reason is it folds, 80% perfect size, fits the outside pocket of my supply bag, streak free windows, mirrors, fast on shower tiles, shower glass, bath tubs. If you found it in stores it was so hidden in between other items that you'd pass it right up, and have to ask where it is. It's listed on the store's website, says store has the item. This is what happened to me when I found it wasn't available on Amazon. I started the search and lo and behold it wasn't available in the majority of stores or online. When I did find it, I bought it/them, $30 a pop, I found 4, which is better than none:) I'm a professional cleaner. It never fails when you find something that really works either the gov't or company says, "You can no longer have it or we're not producing it anymore." :(

I buy simple human products because I trust they are well thought out and of good quality. I was correct with this squeegee. However the attachment that was intended to create suction and stay on the shower wall (where I use it) did not work. It is a clean flat surface and should have worked but did not. It’s not a deal breaker as I’ll buy the 3M product to attach it to. Just mentioning it so it gets back to them and they correct the design flaw.

The simplehuman Foldaway Squeegee is a well-designed cleaning tool that makes wiping windows and shower doors a breeze. The stainless steel handle feels sturdy and comfortable to hold, while the foldaway feature makes it easy to store without taking up much space. The modern design looks great in my bathroom, and the quality construction means it should last a long time. Highly recommend for anyone who wants an effective and compact squeegee.

This is absolutely the best squeegee I have used on our shower glass. It does take a bit of practice to use effectively but the results as excellent. Having bought a cheaper item that had issues with leaving residue and causing cloudiness I decided to pay more for this product and so glad I did. The squeegee really sticks to the glass when pulling along to clear off water etc. and leaves nothing but a crystal clear glass after using it. Couldn’t have asked for a better product. Watch out for the cheap/inexpensive squeegees and give this a go, you will be happy you did.

First the positive: The squeegee looks really nice, is strong, durable, and looks like the rubber blade can easily be changed out. Not sure if replacement rubber blades are sold though. The wall hanger is a simple suction cup design that actually works really well. The squeegee can easily rotate 90 degrees as shown in the photos for better storage options. The negative: The squeegee is heavy, and that makes it awkward to sling around your shower or tub. The push button to rotate the blade seems to be perfectly placed for where your thumb naturally wants to rest. It's will cause the squeegee to rotate if your turn it while slinging it around and your thumb is on that perfect resting spot. The designed angle of the squeegee seems to not be the most ergonomic and natural position for your hand to hold and move it around. Overall a well built product, but is heavy and awkward for simple water mover.

J’en avais déjà acheté une il y a environ 4 an et elle n’a pas changé (pas de rouille et pas de changement de couleur), elle est toujours impeccable. Si vous ne séchez pas bien la raclette, au bout de quelques années il peut y avoir des traces de calcaire sur la partie en inox, mais c’est pas grave, il suffit d’utiliser un produit anti-calcaire et ça part rapidement. Le produit est qualitatif en acier inoxydable. La raclette est pliable pour éviter de prendre trop de place. Le mécanisme est simple et efficace, il suffit d’appuyer sur le bouton pour débloquer la raclette pour la plier ou déplier. Personnellement, je n’utilise pas la ventouse pour tenir la raclette car sur le carrelage, ça tombe toujours au bout d’un certain temps, la ventouse tient bien sur les vitres. Je la pose juste sur le rebord de la baignoire, c’est plus simple. J’en ai racheté une autre pour mes parents. Je recommande !

I love glass in showers. However, I hate dirty glass in showers. Worse still, cleaning shower glass is a contortionists worst nightmare as you have to do a semi-kneel that resembles somebody using a hole-in-the-ground toilet. These squeegees stop all that. We have two as they are that good. Just wipe over the walls and glass after each shower and, hey presto, no more glass cleaning to do. Also, they wont rot or rust so they can stay in the show if needs be too. They fold away into a very compact unit so look discreet as well.

Inzwischen habe ich ihn nochmal gekauft. Den Ersten habe ich vor zwei Jahren erworben. Er ist handlich, hat ein angenehmes Gewicht und gleitet super über die Glaswände meiner Dusche. Natürlich entfernt er jeden Wassertropfen. Der Haken mit Saugnapf hält super, er ist mir in zwei Jahren einmal abgefallen. Wahrscheinlich war ich etwas ungeschickt. Der Neukauf war nötig, da die zweite Dusche natürlich auch einen Abzieher braucht ;-)

Es la 2ª vez que la compro porque la anterior me ha dado muy buen resultado. Para que los cristales queden perfectos, al terminar inmediatamente pasar un bayeta seca ligeramente para eliminar las rayas que hayan podido quedar. Fácil y rápido!
